make the bonus attributes you get from shrining artifacts scaling with level. something along the lines of +0.5% of your level per point for a total of +10% once maxed out.

Wouldn't that make the lower level players lose out & vice versa?

Yeah. But the amount of points you'd be getting at low level is pretty much irrelevant anyway, unless you've been normalfesting like mad. This post has been edited by PK678353: Apr 29 2013, 23:16

Sadly, haven't been able to get pass Endgame on Nintendo yet. As for the rest of the arenas, I'm slowly building up the difficulty, & my credits to buy better gear. I'm now starting to get on average now ~ 2 - 3 artifacts/day. Haven't decided to shrine or sell/trade them yet.

QUOTE(T_Starrk @ Apr 29 2013, 11:59) No, mace is not OP. It's slow as fuck, anybody who wants to play that slow deserves to be safe, lol.
It's no longer "slow as fuck" because monsters' PMI is much lower and stun lasts longer. As for damage vs safety, it's a matter of how much. I think mace should get a lot less stun and a little more damage. QUOTE(T_Starrk @ Apr 29 2013, 11:59) This idea would fuck over club too, and club is only a single target stun (which is definitely not OP).
Yes, I agree.

The stun time and chance of proc is fine as is for mace, it currently takes me twice as long to actually kill Elizabeth IWTBH with my Mace, then it does with my shitty ethereal balance estoc. Though...the surviveability with the estoc is dirt.... I think Maces should have a higher crit chance and lower accuracy though. Or at least get a more useful 3rd OC skill.

And you get 1 monster that parry's a couple of your attacks and stun wears, rape ensues.... Seriously its not nice when stun wears off and all the monsters start firing off specials because they have their MP SP gauges full. Maybe if stun prevented monsters MP SP from increasing, but I struggled keeping monsters stunned when I tried out mace so I don't think stun is OP. Maybe with the type of gear you have, but for most I don't think they would agree.

"Silence" Seems to be my new spell of choice going into IWTBH hourlies and early arenas. (for about as my mana lasts)

Maces might get someone farther than they would ordinarily progress, but it's such a slow process because of how much crushing resist is out there. Once the higher rounds roll around I find myself only a little less screwed than, say, if I use my sup. eth longsword or my lv 5 exq slaughter scythe since the most effective strategy for me at that point has been to manage overcharge to begin rounds with hard-hitting PA->Stun combos.

But thats not going to help you in a grindfest or IW. Well not unless you have IA4 or 5 plus a siphon mace, then you could probably cast it all you want.

QUOTE(gc00018 @ May 1 2013, 07:19) I think Tenb will add MDB in cotton (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) , to make them more attractive... just like willow and oak having CR. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) yup, cotton needs a boost. badly. MDB, EDB potencies instead of resist ones, counter resist, whatever... i also second the suggestion of reneming them into Latex. actually a total renaming of HV stuff into kinky stuff would be awesome. leather also needs some improvements. but my real suggestion of the day is: make oak and willow more attractive giving counter resist a level scaling

But it's drop rate is like T1, and it was indisputably T1 till recently, and it doesn't take a special component to upgrade like light T2.

What is old is new again. I for one welcome our new Chainmail overlords (but only if they have original recipe level PMI, otherwise they might almost be useful!).
