It should be viable for everyone, not just those who have such a high lvl, that a few mil exp makes no difference.

i don't think that a low level player should even try to level equipment higher level than they are. With some decent gear, even a low level player can easily reach atleast 50 rounds in an IW.

Edit: by the time you are level 100, you can easily survive 100 rounds on normal

I think you guys are MISSING the POINT.
It's not about being able to survive it, ffs.
It's about getting too much exp and not being able to level it fast enough, to keep up with your own leveling.

Is that so hard to understand? I can't simplify this ffs.

To be honest, you should not worry too much about that. The higher level you are at the beginning, the more arenas that you can have acces to. That means more credits/tokens and sometimes even equipment every day. At some point even clearing 14 items on normal is hardly enough to level up once, then it's the perfect time to level up the gear.

It may be your opinion, that low lvl folks shouldn't level up gear, but that's ridiculous.
IW is available since lvl 1, so I should be able to lvl up an equip since lvl 1 all the way too 250.
I shouldn't have to sit on my ass for 200 levels and wait till I can even begin to level up the equip.

The way it is now, IW leveling is impossible for low lvl people and weather you think we should do it or not, we should at least have the fucking choice.

Let me ask you again , how many low level people actually have a low level item that is really good?
From what i can see, anyone can easily buy equipment from other players that are higher level than they are in the forums or even sometimes there are decent stuff in the bazaar.

You only should worry about it if your item is low level and it has an extremely good stat like a really high base evade, PAB or EDB or else you technically wasted your time leveling an item let's say 60 levels when you find a random gear that's better than yours from either your own drops, forums or in the bazaar

I've been levelling some of my fine/average gossamer/phase cloth to Lv300 on normal difficulty. I've found the trick is not to wear any owl gear (wisdom paid for in blood). *Probably* couldn't manage 250+ rounds in a normal superior IW, though I can't remember the last time I tried. I don't have any EXP tanks / aura boosters (etc) and my dropped equip's item levels still lag behind my levelling speed. Currently I enter them on hard difficulty and hope for the 2x level up. It's taking longer and longer to run, though.

This has not been the case for me, because I'm not a mage and thus can't clear a multi-mob round in two keystrokes.

Not to butt in here or anything, but Kamui, didn't you invest a lot of credits and hath into exp bonuses? Maybe that's why you're leveling too fast for your items to catch up.

Unfortunately, I think your only choice now it to wait until your exp requirement catches up with all your exp bonuses. But just to point out, some players purposely avoid getting these exp bonuses just so they can level their items without over-leveling themselves.


Also, it's my personal opinion that there is no such thing is over leveling. Sure, your low level item fails to catch up with you, but you're still putting in the same amount of time and effort to level it up daily. What I mean is, if you level an item once a day, whether or not you gain exp, in 100 days, it will have gained 100 levels. That fact you're also leveling up shouldn't bother you, unless you somehow REQUIRE that item to function properly in HV.

The only case that I can accept as over-leveling is if a player restricts himself from not buying any equipment from other players or from the bazaar. If he is forced to only use the equipment he himself finds, then he'll out-level his gear quite easily. But that shouldn't be the case for you, right?

If you think you're leveling too fast, I'll level your items for a fee.
Fine and above only though.

I've always wondered why more people didn't do this. Especially with the new IW training.

Low levels can pay in hath or artifacts and expect +10 levels on an item in 5 days or less.

Already reset AP with no EXP bonuses.
