QUOTE(Nightwishman @ Jan 17 2013, 07:19) Just thinking last night, and I got the idea for a new weapon, well...two really:
1-Handed Sai, and the two-handed Paired Sai; they would have the following characteristics:
Damage - low, probably the same if not a bit lower then Rapiers. Accuracy and crit would be "decent" and they would be able to generate with agi, dex and str (at higher qualities). Their primary function however would be to have %block as well as proc 10-15% "Organ Strike" which would be similar to "Crushing Blow" found in Diablo 2 that damages an enemy for a certain % of its current hit points. Obviously, Paired Sai would have somewhat better stats then a 1-Handed Single Sai. just an idea.
No, then melee won't be tedious enough (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Would have to be 10-15% of baseHP, so its not awesome at higher difficulties.

How about reducing cast time of RegenII. I call shenanigans.
1 11 Regen II restores 1091 points of health. 1 10 Shmoyalty hits you for 444 crushing damage. 1 9 Seth Priest hits you for 318 piercing damage. 1 8 Ragingheart Exelion hits you for 2599 piercing damage. 1 7 You gain the effect Cloak of the Fallen. 1 6 Your Spark of Life restores you from the brink of defeat. 1 5 Magic The Gandhi hits you for 1530 elec damage. 1 4 Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen crits you for 1696 piercing damage. 1 3 Need0255 hits you for 2570 piercing damage. 1 2 You gain the effect Regen II. 1 1 You cast Regen II.

You should've learnt over the last 100+ levels that you never cast regen 2 at the start of a round (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I think someone have already suggest it but I am going to suggest it again anyway. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I think it would be nice if we can collect material from all of the monsters by a single click.

Sometimes SS & spark too (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I think it wasn't made my anyone because it comes dangerously close to violating the Bot Act. Tiap's script is good enough for me though; one click to go from one monster to the other. This post has been edited by roadgray: Jan 17 2013, 19:44

I know trolling Frith is fun and all but here have a suggestion to help him and other HIGH PL Mobs. Starting from PL 750 you have a chance to get Loot above High Grade. Exquisite Grade counts as 2 HG mats when used in the Forge, Magnificent as 3 and legendary as 5. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Tenb, can you seriously consider allowing us to load images from our hard drives? I'm currently running with a lightweight server just to serve images instead of asking ehgt.org every time, and it's been a positive experience for me (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

You are. It's called the browser cache.

Well, I guess it's cause Chrome likes to crash and take the damn cache with it. Otherwise I wouldn't have done this in the first place (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You can use store the images in a .css extension and block browser from loading images from wherever they're loaded...But I think that only saves time if the images aren't cached already, as I imagine browser doesn't send additional requests for cached images.
Just wondering, how did you do that and what were the gains?

I modded the hosts file to point to localhost, then run mongoose and saved the images file and serve them through mongoose (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It helps, since now everytime the cache is cleared for whatever reason I'm right back in it, instead of having to wait for images to load, which is very annoying, since it slows the browser considerably. Plus, not always will the image appear, so it's tough getting it to be cached. Tenboro, I demand spritesheets!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You know you don't need to wait for the images to load to call their associated functions. Agree on sheets to reduce requests though, but tbh I don't run into that problem often enough to care.

Balance tweaks: Increase Bleed Damage even more so Scythe can actually stand up to Estoc. I think it was a good idea since it was a kick in the Nuts to normalfarmers but still not good enough to compete with Estoc.
Increase max Mit to 90% please. No fun in GF with such low mit.
Make Staff Prof increase the amount of MP drained when ET. What I get back is not enough. Old ET granted more AND you was able too leech off multiple Monsters.
