does it make sense that a club can pierce or slash.

The idea is to use overchange to change the equipment only limited weapons, excluding armor. In the midst of combat you spend "overchange" and is a turn without attacking without the bonus weapons. Shortly after this turn you can attack with another weapon.

Overcharge is too easy to recover (unless you had used a Soul Stone to increase it over the limit, of course). It should cost a ton of SP at the very least.

Suggestion: Tone down the monsters in the Giant class.
Since player created monsters can not be upgraded yet and should be similar to each other for now, I find it weird that any of these monsters is nearly as hard to kill as a mini-boss. If it's intentional, disregard my post.

intentional, because most of the new monsters screw up mages. So there has o be 2 or 3 types of monsters that mess up melee

Put a chance to proc Ripened Soul not vanish when hitting the target. It would be a 50% chance in exchange for reducing the active time in half.

I hope there will be more monsters "messing up" mages than melee, because in mage point of view they only make recast again, while in melee point of view they take 3-4 turns more rounds to get killed.

There will be after the updates, because you can't raise the melee resistance of monsters but you can increase their elemental resistances

For what? You can kill everything except for a Boss/Legendary in 1 hit anyway. If we're requesting Poison upgrades, might as well ask for a Tier2 Poison (more damage, longer duration, etc)
