Psh... Mages don't need swift cast. They need Doublecast! Everyspell does x% (2,4,6,8,10%) damage of the initial spell as a second cast on the target!

Monster Perks: one-off upgrades worth N chaos tokens that do specific... stuff.
Like a perk to write a short description/message that would come up in scan results.
Or give the monster a small chance to bypass Spirit Shield.

(I'm actually only interested in the short description, the whole perk thing is just a cunning ploy)

Doublecast would be even better than swift cast (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

We mages are always so thoroughly abused from uncaring monsters (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

So it'd remove resist from shade of negation O.o?

Tbh, it'd be great, now if it only fitted in with other shards theme...I guess shards to change physical attacks to magical ones would do the trick for shade(removing physdam)?

He means anti-resist to monsters

Suggestion: Since AGI gets much less useful after a certain point (speedcap) allow it to start reducing burden. When a negative burden is achieved it gives a very small boost to attack speed by decreasing action time much like X-mod and swift strike. But not increasing evade like that short time when sharding heavy = lolevade.

Along those same lines, look at INT, which is not very useful to melee, but still gets dumped into due to the large increases in EXP cost for every point. Have INT decrease interference by a very small amount for every point, and a negative interference giving a small mana conservation value.

Make the spikes deal some damage even it the attack was parried or evaded, instead of the pitiful 5 damage they deal right now.
Like 10% of the damage the player WOULD have suffered if he had taken the hit.

They do like ~50ish damage for me. 5 is the min, I believe.

Allow magic missile to generate oc

Allow magic missile to proc Ether Theft (it already has a cast penalty over using the staff to wack the mob, so might as well right?)

Greatly decrease focus (the one that regens manas) action time mod so it isn't a death sentence for mages to use.

How about:
Make Focus into a pseudo Mage Stance. Once activated it will eat all your Overcharge. It will get a duration depending on how much OC you had.

Multiply the monster lab monsters crystal cost to level up a stat by (2/log(powerlevel*2))/(max(1,ln(number of current upgrades)) for primary stats and (2/log(powerlevel*2))/max(1,log(number of current upgrades)) for elemental stat(Yes I'm aware that some upgrades will be cheaper for next level than previous level, this is intentional to increase specialization and thus variety) .

Why? Because the payoff for creating army of nameholders critters is currently too big compared to creating monsters who face the majority of players, leaving to 10k monsters at low level and I guess few hundred above 400.

Hath perk: Battle plan
costs 50/100/150/200/250 hath for presetting 2/3/4/5/6 actions to be done at once to be sent to the server(would primarily help overseas players I guess).

Allow Ultimates to reflect debuffs 1% of the time. Because.

Summon spell: Spawns your highest pvlvl monster not already in battle to the battle with special variant of confuse spell lasting 255 turns that prevents them from hitting you or themselves( Of course, when you break the confuse they'll attack you.). Costs 25% MP.

Breeding: allow us to breed together two monsters we own for 3 chaos tokens when there's a slot open, creating new plvl 0 monster that is mix of the two old ones with type being onetype/anothertype. These monsters would be infertile. The monsters could also disagree to being mated and either one or both of them could initialize a battle with you starting in agitated state.

Instead of Arcanist Shade gear having lower interference, make them have Mana Conservation.

So they would have regular/standard Shade interference, but make spells use less mana. Not sure if it would be equivalent in the end or not, but yeah.

Also, what skillchip said earlier about Intelligence lowering interference.

Ah, but think of it like this: the spells would be less effective.

You would have lower accuracy for debuffs, your Cure/Regen2 wouldn't heal as much, Heartseeker wouldn't last as long...

You would use less Mana, but the spells wouldn't be as potent, basically. Would it still be equivalent?
