QUOTE(Colman @ Sep 8 2012, 20:03) Have anyone suggested that token upgraded monster should give better reward for killing it?
It's pretty hard to find a non-upgraded monster nowadays.

I think a fully upgraded high PL monster is not common.

There is at least one every second round.

Time-limited drops. These are of unusual quality, but only last for a certain number of turns, rounds, or minutes. Tend to be named, e.g. The Mace [ muppet.wikia.com] 'Cakenschmooscher' - Legendary Ethereal Mace of Slaughter - long list of sick stats. When one is dropped in combat, you get to compare it to your current equip in that slot, and switch to it if you want. (reduced to 1% hit points) Snowflake, Goddess of Chaos, shouts, "Take this, you fool!" The Lance of Longinus thuds into the ground in front of you. unfortunately, it's not quite as good as your estoc of slaughter and you pass. Snowflake blasts you with cold. Others would be dropped by monsters, so there's not always an issue of angering your goddess. Some are actually cursed items created by Shadowflake, goddess of crappy drops and spoiled food, giving an opportunity to add detect curse & remove curse abilities. (*Theologians differ on whether Snowflake and Shadowflake are separate entities, or aspects of the same individual.) Meanwhile... 'The Four Horseponies of the Apocalypse have entered the arena. They will be catching up to your position in 20 turns.' I.E., roving boss fights that act as adds once they catch up to you. They can also spawn ahead of you and have wandering behavior rather than a predictable rate of progress. As you're making your way through a long arena, you encounter a fork in the road. If you choose one direction, the arena continues as usual, but if you choose the wrong direction, after a few rounds, you get, "You seem to be lost". From then on, you don't know how many rounds you have to go, and things get increasingly bizarre. Game mechanics change. Altered versions of monsters show up. Items drop that you can't normally get. Eventually you reach a small gas station and may never be seen again.

New Spelunker: Adds to the Max level an item can have New IW Points: Adds to the amount of points given out at the end of an IW Forge level does more: gives a higher chance for higher quality material from salvage.

Solution that makes everyone happy: refund Spelunker, change its effects to whatever has been suggested and let those who are still interested do the training thing over again And possibly make training instant, but I know that's not gonna happen

Or include training time credits with training refunds.

add a 2nd level to black, white & rainbow auras, add level 6 & 7 to normal auras and make a new pony aura for melee combat (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Level 200 is unplayable. Mobs just massacre me and my spells have zero affect suddenly. I don't mind a challenge, but now it's impossible. I may just give up if it's this frustratingly hard.

you should be posting that in the the "Ask the Experts" thread and possibly posting your gear etc to see what you're doing wrong.

mechafujoshi: A good drop that removes curses would be interesting. You can hit monsters, but you cannot curse them. A crap drop that does that- wtf shadowflake?
Which did you mean?

I'm aware of the lack of sanity in electrical appliances but that doesn't mean that it isn't somewhat interesting idea. At least, it could make swords more useful if they're suddenly holy swords. Maybe.
Though I have a nibbling doubt that their usefulness would be told with a glance.

How about making the lesser trophies, tail, grenade, flower and voicebox to be offered at the Shrine with the same rewards as the artifacts (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Since they don't usually result in any equipment worth much of anything, except maybe forge or bazaar fodder (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Um no. Because: a) Don't wantonly mess with credits/hath. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) If you go by current value, the rewards would be comparable to what FSM gives per token. I think it'd make sense that as RoB gets more difficult it the rewards get better.

Anti-parry / Anti-resist hath perks.
100 haths per level, total 7-10 levels. Each level gives a reduction of 10% of the monster's parry/resist.
