Just raise the PL slope so those 100-200 will face stronger monsters. Right now most of 'the game is too easy' complaints comes from this level group.

Basically add and reassign more melee weapon types by tier, each of which correspond to the proc they make/their base damage type. Weapon stat range should be adjusted to match their tier expectation, with possible shortcoming if need be.

Variety is always good.

Except it already has become super easy for new guys.

Suggestion: Let the Lisis, E1la, Beth and Pals appear starting from level 100 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I think spell books (as offhand equipment - like shields are for one handed) would be a good idea.

It's difficult to be an effective mage, so they could help to balance things out.

Actually that Idea is not that bad!
What mage lacks the most is defense so these magic books can come with some Block and a few random stats.

And Wands as mainhanders. Can just do it the easy way and make them weaker version of the current staffs, and have them be the same materials.

Other suggestion: option to go straight to next arena challenge, keeping OC and buffs.

Even easier: Just transform all staffs into one handers so people can use regular Shield or more offensive books.
Given how hard mage sucks now this could be a good way to fix it.

Making a specialized mage shield, like one with no interference, might be good too.

It might be good to change the level ten item potency for staffs too. TBH I don't think anyone cares if a staff can do void or elemental damage because no one uses them to mele anyway.

staff on one hand and book on offhand why not .

for mage shield it already exist (shield of the battlecaster) but it's kinda rare .

next is ring and necklace addition in melee and spellcaster variant .

Its not like you got time to be reading books mid combat and if TV taught me anything its that books are excellent at deal blunt force damage.

If we're going with that, then books are a ranged weapon.
