Would be easy.

Purchase an upgrade, saying your mob can spawn as a mini-boss, boss, legendary ect

Mob spawns normally, and follows the once every 10 rounds rule.

Whenever a mini-boss, boss, legendary, ect. spawns the mob that has the upgrade to spawn as one of those can be rolled from the list to spawn as the mini-boss, boss, legendary, ect. as long as they dont violate the once every 10 rounds rule, and if no monsters are available on the list the generic ones spawn.

Boss, legendary, ect. tier player monsters drop generic trophies like Trophy Mark I through Mark V.

If the mini-boss, boss, legendary, ect. is in a round where the player is defeated it gets a multiplier for battles won based, based on what it spawned as.
mini-boss: 2
boss: 3
legendary: 5
ect.

Everyone wins.

I like the sound of custom trophies. But you would have to make an upgrade to boss very hard.

Mini Boss: PL 500 and certain amount of Chaos Upgrades done.
Boss: Pl 700, more Chaos Upgrades and a lot of Credits.
Legendary: Pl 900 and very much Chaos Upgrades so we don't have to deal with weak sauce Legendarys.

I think it makes more sense to make only the top X amount of monster legendary/boss level. It's just to prevent a swarm of item names if they do drop different tropies, which they should. Or maybe it won't be that bad... just like equipment.

But we don't have that many monsters qualified for Boss or even Legendary Upgrade.
If Tenb wants to make sure he can Limit us to 1 Legendary and 1 Boss Class monster for each User.
No Limit for Mini Bosses.

i wouldn't mind having the Bosses show up slightly more often, as it is now, at least for me, they appear so rarely, i might as well throw them a birthday party whenever i see one in any battle they're not guaranteed to be in.

Not saying anything at all like 1 of 100 battles, that's obviously too much, but right now it sure seems like a 1 of 23846750286346538409.

The Orbital Friendship Cannon, while being a neat skill, has a real drawback in the high Overcharge cost and long cooldown time. Why not get an reduction in Overcharge and cooldown if one has all 26 ponies? Will make an incentive as well as reward for getting the full set.

It should go down a bit for each unique piece. Multiplicative stacking. Adds room for extra ponies in the future.

Only if at the same level cloth armor gets a bunch of physical mitigation.

I'd rather it do more damage for each pony you have over the first 21.

This probably isn't easy from a programming standpoint, but "achievements" would add a bit of fun. Feel free to add insane things such as going 1000 rounds on grindfest naked to keep the ubers occupied.

Don't everybody love it at once. The endgame is basically trying to squeeze another half-point out of equipment, so I figured it would be a nice distraction.

I don't see how that's possible. Equipment currently provides me with half of my primary stats, not counting mitigation, spell damage, elemental bonuses, evade, whatever. I can't even get to round 1000 full gear without burning 10 godly mana pots. You don't even have things like et.
