How about giving equips that require rare mats a chance to drop a rare mat when salvaged?

I mean:
Phase -> Phazon
Kevlar -> Kevlar Piece
Shade -> Shade Fragment
Shield Armor -> Shielding Rune
Power Armor -> Repurposed Actuator

AoE version of Magic Missile for the times when there are only two or three mosters in a mob
that are near death

Rather than waste precious mana points on casting an normal AoE spell to finish them off (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Why do magical staves even allow melee attacks?
If you are wielding a staff its because you are a pure mage. A battle-caster or a melee player would use a real melee weapon.
Not to mention staves don't even have higher tier combat skills like real melee weapons.

Using magic missile with a staff has equal chances of increasing your staff skill as melee, hits the same amount of opponents, both are free...
MM does significantly more damage, better crits, and better to hit chance. MM is also physical damage just like a staff is.
The only thing melee on a staff has going for it is generating overcharge which doesn't really pay off.

Why not just say that staff style is combining MM and staff melee into a single attack that is the performed by the "attack" button. Sum the damage of staff melee and magic missile, give overcharge, and streamline finishing off monsters (just click on them to perform a "staff attack" rather then having to go through selecting magic missile from magic pane or quickbar)

Make Crystal perks work on Chaos Token drops!
Daily random Token at Dawn Event!
More Token Drops on higher Difficultly Settings.
Monster have a chance to bring Chaos Tokens for kills.

All or some of them please (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Unless you also want to change how ET works, I still want a melee attack on a staff.
Mobs die way too quickly with MM when trying to proc ET.
Another reason why the Physical Attack damage bonus on Staff Prof should be removed or changed (preferably to Mana Conservation)

The monster bringing Chaos Tokens as a gift is a most excellent idea (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Since 80 kazillion of them are needed to chaos upgrade them (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

melee staves = stick or tonfa , bow and crossbow why not but how will they work (single or multi target ,speed and damage , critical , burden , interference ).

Phase -> Phazon

I just had a fun idea. Should be easy to Code for Tenb but a lot of fun for us.

Allow a New kind of challenge called Ultra Mode or something. Can only be used when the Difficulty setting is at IWBTH and Ultra Mode will only work on Random Encounters.

In Ultra Mode everything will be raised by 10% for every Battle won. This includes Drop rates, Gold drops but also Monster Damage and HP.
So after 10 Random Encounters won monsters would be twice as strong but have double drop chances. This will of course reset if you fail.

Reminds me of Dungeon & Fighter. That game didn't let you trade rare equipments, but disassembling several would let you get another random one.

When I asked for a AoE MM that cost MP, Tenboro basically said no. You're asking for a free version.

Add PAB and weapon/spell proficiencies to armor equipment potencies.

For totally inappropriate stats (such as STR/non-staff weapon prof on cloth and INT/staff weapon prof on light and heavy) the PAB/proficiency bonus should be doubled. Battlecaster.
