Ethereal, fuck yes, i might give sword&board a try. Exquisite Ethereal tower shield of the battlecaster, sounds good. Elemental strike, .....meh. Just for counter? slap void on it with ethereal up there, and be done... Unless it comes with a lesser spikes enchant and maybe even bonus elemental resistance.

Probably been mentioned but having Spelunker's function be application of additional potency points after an Item World wouldn't be the worst idea.

Being able to salvage equipment of less than Fine quality would have been nice, as those aren't worth jack shit. Only low-level players use them, and selling them to the Bazaar is essentially giving them away.
Also, being able to see upgrades/enhancements/potencies on ALL equipment screens, and not only by Ctrl+C popups or in the Forge.

It could be used for something else but maybe not everyone will want/need what its changed into. A refund and then a new item to train would solve that but it would be kind of a pain if the training takes 12-24 hours for each level. I'd like to have an option where we can go past the IW round limit if the item has been maxed. Grinding past round 25 in crude or past 200 in legendary can still be a good place for equipment drops. With its lower stamina costs vs grindfest and drops based on item quality (if equipment still has a loot modifier)

As I understand it, we're not allowed to trade tokens as that would encourage idiots to create fake accounts and farm them. So how about allowing only Dovahkiin to send them? (though everyone could receive them) Leveling up to 300, getting decent equipment and defeating 150 schoolgirls in a row on BT/IWBTH seems like enough of a deterrent to discourage most people

Melee combat staves. Like a normal weapon, they have interference, don't help spellcasting, and drop with the usual weapon flavors (e.g. Slaughter, Balance) and pluses to melee stats. Can be used for grinding staff proficiency with a melee build, plus it's a little odd that there isn't one single non-magical staff in the game. Can be a separate category of shrine reward so people don't get a melee staff when they wanted a "normal" one.
A way to defend without losiing overcharge, if you don't actually need the small bit of health you get. Currently, it drains overcharge even if you're already at full HP.

If you had one that did better damage, you could get a bit more done than just grindng profs. With infusions and scrolls, move the whole stack into the slot when they're equipped so you can see how many you have left. I like the idea of battle staves but i've liked them since watching old kung fu movies and playing BoF2 on my snes when i was a kid.
I'd rather see Bows in here before that though.
But first something to fix niten.

I would probably sacrifice Niten ever being good to never see bows or ranged weapons in HV.
