First off I have scarcely any experience with coding so I don't know if this is as easy to code as I think it is. But since anything that would require too much coding gets rejected on the spot I settled for this:

First make "3 items sets". Just like the Equipment sets, you could probably copy pasta the code and alter it a bit.
Then put both options of switching sets in the Settings page. Like above the Quickbar Slots:

Equipment Set
Here you can set up which equipment set will be used.
- Equipment Set 1
- Equipment Set 2
- Equipment Set 3

Item Set
Here you can set up which item set will be used.
- Item Set 1
- Item Set 2
- Item Set 3

Quickbar Slots
Here you can set up which spells will appear on the battle screen quickbar.
etc

And here's the cream topping. Make 3 Configurations Sets for the Settings page.
Like on top:

Configuration 1 Configuration 2 Configuration 3

In a nutshell it should work just like the equipment sets, only with all your options selected in Settings.
That way we could switch helluva lot faster between sets, no let's call it profiles.
Configuration 1: Difficulty Heroic, Equipment Set 2 (Mage), Item Set 2 (Mana Elixirs), Quickbar Slots Spelltype: Mage
and switch from that to
Configuration 2: Difficulty Normal, Equipment Set 1 (Melee), Item Set 3 (Greater Mana Potions/Infusions), Quickbar Slots Spelltype: Deprec/Support, Innate Arcana
in a matter of seconds and/or clicks.

Faster way to level up items.. Come on.. 200 rounds? man.... how many times do i need to click.

Don't try to level up level 200 items, if you don't like fighting 200 rounds.

I dont, but i set that up for an example to show how tedious it is.

I actually like the higher rounds on the higher levels, because IW gives much better exp than grindfest. The more rounds you can have (because you can only go to IW 10 times a day), the more exp you can earn every day.

Is it? Maybe you're doing it wrong. And maybe you're not nearly a high enough level to be doing 200 rounds on IW. 200 rounds would only take me about 8 minutes. On Hell difficulty.

The only problem with this idea is that newbies will less likely dump good gear in the bazaar.

@Tenb: Do you think you could slightly increase the chance of special drops? Or add it into Archaeologist or something. I haven't found a Soul Stone, Last Elixir, Flower Vase, or Bubble-Gum in the last 25 thousand drops, and it's making me kinda sad (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

yes, but it's easier to distinguish junk from the better things if you can see the basestats

100% all normal mobs? The only things you could do to speed up is use Chrome and have WoT in your quickcast bar.

LoD? I got 8 items in 27k drops.

LotD doesn't effect special drops AFAIK. Scavenger might be the only thing that actually increases their drop rate.

For the record I've gotten 22 in my past 54.5k drops.

Would difficulty affect it, maybe?

I've gotten 56 in my last 142302 drops. I don't have the version that records bubble-gum drops though, so that's just the other 3.

Difficulty doesn't affect it. My Scavenger is decent, so all I can ask is that the rate for them gets tweaked.

On average that's 1620 drops per special. I get artifacts more frequently than that. x.x

I've got 0 out of 25,000 drops. Something is wrong.

Edit: I now have 1 out of 28,000 drops.
