This one will make the game faster, and look pretty instead of the monster a, monster b, ect image sys; Label the monsters by type 1, This means the game only has to load relevant images, if you're fighting 3 of the same enemy type only 1 image has to be quered instead of 3 in the current label sys. 2. you get used to recognising the images, and will then know what strategy to use on the enemy from memory, saving the player more time. 3. Images can be brought down to min file size, much smaller then the 14k version above 3.just makes it feel a little more interactive/fun... maybe

I have no problems with you rejecting it. You did it in the past and it was done. There were never any attempts at "negotiation," it's just simple and honest curiosity on why you're so adamant on your stance. Besides, there's really no point in trying to negotiate with you. Once you made up your mind, that's that. It's pretty obvious by now.

I wonder what happens if you make a post involving both stamina and MLP QUOTE(Ichy @ Jul 21 2012, 18:37) Some month ago I suggested to remove Monster HP Boost and now... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) You should start complaining about monster resists.

QUOTE(derpymal @ Jul 21 2012, 19:14) Or, y'know, just do away with scaling in IW and leave it a flat 100% the whole way through. I really don't see why this is still in place since the original reasons it was added in the first place have been superseded by later difficulty patches. For infinite modes like the Fests, it still has a tiny amount of use, but IW is like the Arena.
I like this one

Yeah, Tenboro would fail pretty badly in the professional game development world.

You might want to hold off any suggestions on the Item World until after the next patch. Seeing as all you know is wrong. In the professional game development world, I wouldn't even be exposed to direct user feedback. In fact, there is a creed among professional game developers: never, ever engage directly with players on open forums. It's for good reason too.

Nah, if developers are easily swayed by user input games would fail so fast it's not even funny. We are kinda fortunate in the sense that we have direct feedback from the main (only) developer. In most games, like D3 or any other MMO on the net, developers wouldn't even be talking with the players. At best, it'd just be forum mods relaying concerns from players back to the developers and this is solely based on the judgment of those forum mods. And I respect that.

Suggestion: Replace all PNG icons in the game with ones that have gone through PNGOUT (free, easily used via infranview plugin; better compression then PNG Crush). I just tried it on the 4 powerup gems icons and it losslessly reduced their size to 24.62% of their current size
Benefits: 1. Faster loading. (especially useful when traveling on slow interwebs or using a tethered phone) 2. Site pays less for bandwidth.

Can we get a side-by-side comparison for quality?

yeah the 20 hour cooldown should be removed as it only served a purpose before the introduction of stamina
edit: disclaimer that this suggestion was made before i read the post that announced that item world would be made even suckier

yep... But if you don't believe it then here, see for yourself:
Powerups.zip ( 39.83k )
Number of downloads: 41I didn't see a batch function (although there probably is one) in infranview. If this is an issue I volunteer to do the compression for you Ten. I will just need a zip with all the source png files and will provide a zip with identically named and file structured losslessly compressed files. I am not high enough level to have access to all the images... EDIT: although, I guess I could get them from the wiki if you want. EDIT2: Found the batch convert option.
