To be fair to the bounty system... if a simple system like the credit transfer system existed for hath no one would use the bounty system to do it, so it's not really an innate problem with the bounty system. There's no advantage to transferring hath through the bounty system other than it's currently the only way you can.
edit: edited out awkward quotation marks.

Hath/credit attachments is implemented for 0.5. And "functionality to transfer hath freely doesn't exist" does NOT equal "it's ok to clog up the bounty system with fake bounties to do it". Sheesh.

That was more of a "no need to fix what isn't broke" than condoning it. Was just saying there is nothing inherently wrong with the bounty system, the problem should go away of it's own accord with 0.5.
You could temporarily disable hath for bounties till 0.5 hit if it causes a significant problem though.

I know this is not necessary, but I can't help it... QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jan 7 2011, 17:14) Just goes to show, I can't ever add functionality without carefully considering how it can be abused.
It's a feature that tied with some form of game, and you didn't consider about it?! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Some fighting game have a feature in them that make special moves easier to perform, and there's exist a detail guide about how to abuse this very feature, just to gain a few more pixels of grab range... People WILL abuse everything there's no rules against, and it's not their fault.

Stop while you're ahead. The only thing that actually ties the bounty system to HV is the currency, so it's not unexpected that something like that could be overlooked. Your last line made no sense; of course it's their fault if they chose to do it.

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but I'll just throw this in here. Since equipment won't drop if you have over a thousand pieces, how about adding an equipment counter that keeps track of how many pieces you currently have? For example it could go like this: "You currently have XXX/1000 pieces of equipment." Before, I thought 1000 was more than enough and didn't really consider this an issue but it finally happened to me earlier today and I received that "you can't receive any more equipment" message or something along those lines. Guess I was too busy grinding and didn't bother to sell my trash. It's not that much of an issue, but it's convenient to help people keep track of how much equipment they have. You never know, that 1,001th drop could have been a legendary piece. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I highly doubt it since I've never even gotten an exquisite before, but hey, I guess I could have lucked out on that particular piece. =P

You can't fault people for abusing broken features, especially the one with no rules said not to...

When it's done. QUOTE(buktore @ Jan 7 2011, 22:12) You can't fault people for abusing broken features, especially the one with no rules said not to...
It falls under the "don't be a fucking idiot" rule. QUOTE(sushi0 @ Jan 7 2011, 21:36) Since equipment won't drop if you have over a thousand pieces, how about adding an equipment counter that keeps track of how many pieces you currently have?
It has been suggested, and it's on the "low-hanging fruit that will probably be added sooner rather than later" list.

Could you possibly add an option in the ability tree to make it easier and take less clicks to respec when you do? Could you add an option to the HP, MP, SP, EXP, and Overcharge tank columns to add points to every ability in that column?
For example, you click on a button on the top of the HP tank column in the ability tree and it adds AP to every HP tank in that column until they are maxed.
That way, you only have to click the mouse once instead of multiple times.
Just a suggestion..

What exactly does this mean? We can transfer hath/credits via MM? Hath via User CP? Have Hath as an option for CoD? I'm surprised the Bounty transfer loophole/exploit/whatever hadn't been noticed before, its been mentioned a few times prior to this. Is it because its become a problem now? This would be cool. I don't need to ever respec since I have more AP than I know what to do with, but occasionally we do have to do a mandatory reset because of updates.

I actually went to check the "Site Rules & FAQ" board, the Main site & Galleries to see if there is such a rule after I read Tenb reply... Sadly, I can't find it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) I suggest.. to add this rule! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You have to go to the "common sense" section of the site, it's listed there.

I can't seem to find this "common sense" section ... It's kinda hard to find on a website full of bizarre fantasy porn, ya know. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It's the one not listed on the site itself, because it's common sense.

Being listed wouldn't do anything, because the ones who needed to read, lack the common sense of reading it, in the first place.
Here's a suggestion for HV, why not having some kind of IA, but for infusions/scrolls?

Or cheap spell versions that we can put on IA. Might be a bitch coding logic for IA so you can only have one active at a time, though.

Another idea that I had was to make a separate inventory for equips dropped by monsters and gotten through Snowflake/Arena clearance bonuses.
Basically, all of them would be put in this second inventory with your main inventory being the items that you want to keep and not sell, and the one where all the drops and rewards are placed being the one with all the items that you are either going to sell to the Bazaar or do away with some other way.
You have the ability on the one where all the drops and reward equips are gotten to move them to the main inventory where all of your important/ones you don't want to sell are.
This kills two birds with one stone:
1) You no longer have to look through pages of equips to find the ones you want to sell 2) You no longer run the risk of accidentally selling off something you meant to keep.
There could also be a button on the second inventory where, after you click on an equip that you want to sell, you click the button and it automatically sells it to the bazaar for you.
Anyone like this idea?
