Based on Ichy's track record of brilliant ideas, I'd venture and say that no Ichy-suggested-implementation will be incorporated into the game for the next half-century or so.

Yes, it is already obvious as to Ichy's intention: the only times he is not making any suggestion that would screw players twice over is when he is making a suggestion that will benefit himself in some way. So yeah, given Ichy's track record, it is safer to decline all of his ideas.

Alright no need to be so mean to Ichy, I'd actually agree with some of the monster lab stuff, it IS frustrating knowing that a monster you want will probably never be in battle.

I disagree with the some mazes being hard. I find them way too easy. Once again, I had a maze that was almost a straight line to the exit (no point in the maze when it's made like that). The ponies: not interested in learning their names.
Now, something that I find kind of boring as it is now, the crysfest. I fight many rounds in it with only experience gain and no crystals, wich is not the main point of the crysfest. I suggest making the droprate of random crystal higher by at least 5% and add a talent that you can train at the dojo, talent that allows you to increase the drop chance up to 100%.
The number of levels need still need to be determined, but I suggest going like that: 100% chance of having a crystal at the end of a round - X% (actual drop rate of crystals at end of a round) = number of levels. It's simple, clean, and would allow players to go fight for crystals and have more fun in that way.

Of course, I have that often too, but there are mazes where it's very very difficult to get right in under 10 seconds. That's generous since often mazes take 15 seconds to load for me. So I miss out on the bonus a lot, which sucks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

After you hit a broadband cap, your connection is worse than dailup, on a bad day 50 sec is not enough to download the image to pick.
