@trikon000 Your suggestion is too powerful in our hands. I'll add some limitation: shard for damage multiplier +25%, only obtainable if you completed DwD on BT difficulty. Basically it's a discount ticket you'll get after your meal (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

There's really no point in leveling up past 300 unless you are on a masochist streak. Once you have a good Phase set and a good Staff, Schoolgirls marathons shouldn't take more than 8-15 minutes. And IWBTH is supposed to be paved with your tears and blood, people are not really supposed to be one-shotting stuff on that difficulty (except at lower levels, I guess).
Edit: and really, DwD is not that hard. Took me two hours to complete it on normal stamina because I'm a moron and I forgot to use an ED before starting it because I like the challenge.

Just as a general note, when you people make "suggestions", my suggestion would be not putting in stuff that's so ridiculously over the top that I won't even bother reading your posts in the future. Which is true for several people already.

QUOTE(trikon000 @ Apr 6 2012, 17:51) Have you even been playing on BT or IWBTH nonstop to know that that is a drop in the hat little?
You haven't even done the first schoolgirls arena. If your a mage, tell me how long and boring it is after you do it.
well not a mage if you look at my equipment set, wait a few days and i'll probably get the first schoolgirl arena. and i rarely play BT or IWBTH since its not worth the effort to me, adding that shard as you say would make it a whole lot easier though. i'm not a game developer or anything but as i see it that would make playing on the "hardest" difficulty too easy. if Tenb thinks it doesn't break the game he'll add it but just saying what i think, not to say that i don't like your idea.

I'm probably never going to be able to get a good phase set ever. @Tenboro Ok, you got it.

QUOTE(trikon000 @ Apr 6 2012, 17:25) "grapes of wrath" I feel sad I'm all out of power right now. You're getting the next shot, sir. If anyone made a "How would you name your balls" thread in the Adult Chat, this one would take the cake without a doubt. ADDENDUM : Also works with breasts. QUOTE(trikon000 @ Apr 6 2012, 16:16) I'm probably never going to be able to get a good phase set ever. I wouldn't say so, I think the last two patches made finding decent Phase a good deal easier (and finding a decent Staff irritatingly hard, but you can't have everything). And IMO there's no point in doing the marathons on any difficulty other than Normal or IWBTH; if you want the trophies, go Normal; if you want EXP, do the first 49 rounds on IWBTH and then flee.

Which is true for several people already. So, basically, most of us are being ignored ? Is there a grace period or are we all doomed for life ? Most suggestions will end up being over the top anyway because you know when you give us an inch, we want a mile. I'd kindly suggest defining the term "over the top" and giving us a few pointers about what's worth suggesting and what isn't so that both sides save time in the future. Not as such, but when certain people post nothing but "reduce the HP bonus (so I can go back to facerolling trololol)" or "reduce monster HP and increase damage instead (so I can go back to facerolling trololol)" or "remove the monster classes that have high defense against this element (so I can go back to facerolling trololol)" I just glace over every time I see them post.

I hope a request to make the IW page look like the equipment shop's page or the forge page won't be treated as 'over the top' (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) In fact, I wish it were there when the character's equipment page gets revamped.

And that's pretty simple really, the filtering stuff just takes a few lines of code to invoke.

Heh, it sure suck to IW a pair of boot when you got over 500 equipments on the list.

Maybe add the Sorting magic to the Inventory screen as well?

The only phase that has dropped for me so far were fox and owl, and even most of those where crude on IWBTH. That was why I kept asking how much of Luck of the Draw do I need before I see anything good in the ask the experts thread. it is at 13/25. This post has been edited by trikon000: Apr 6 2012, 20:53

I feel DW is too lacking in boosts, and its proc the worst, since it can only affect the immediate target. 1hand's counters (can effect other targets, and multiple targets w/ proficiency gains) and Overwhelming strikes (lasts a short time so can affect more than 1 target) are much better.
A counter for DW might be make it too overpowered, but I like the idea of a riposte that procs bleed, a hamstring that slows, or even an off-hand only counter.
Other idea might be a proc that increases chance of off-hand strike for a short duration. At the very least how about a proc that boosts evade or parry?

You are joking, right? A nimble dagger can have parry as high as 20%, or 30% in off-hand, enough to put even most shields into shame. DW proc may suck, but it make up with the flexibility: dual-stun? Lol-mode. Stun-armor break? Done. Double-axe? Plenty enough for leftover. Not to mention it got the killing spree skill called Go Frenzy, there is a reason why DW is highly popular in RoB.

(IMG:[ img19.imageshack.us] http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/1809/crysfest.jpg) Pretty simple request: put "Start Crysfest" instead of "Start Grindfest" in the Crysfest starting screen. And a suggestion: put a little bonus for DW when both weapons are the same to compensate for the lack of double-proc.

DW is the second best God Killer Style. Only EDB Nuke mages are better at this.
