You know, I think people place too much importance on keeping equipment levelled up. I don't level my equipment religiously every day, and AFAICT I'm not suffering as a result. Chances are you'll find better pieces sooner or later in any case, and all your efforts will have been wasted.

(Of course, there are exceptions. I always level my axe if I have the time to do an Item World, because it has the maximum post-nerf bleed damage, and I know I'm unlikely to get hold of a better one.)

It would be nice (and easy to code, I think) to be able to have more than 3 equipment sets. 30-100 would be nice.

Also, if the equipment interface would be closer to shop one (with the ability to select all/1h/2h/staff/etc.), it would cut down on the clutter.

Finally, a search function through your inventory and through the shop would be very useful, too.

When you hit c for the equip link it'd be nice if it brought up Level 0 true base stats below the regular panel. It'd be quite helpful for comparing equipment of different levels for true value (which we can technically already do through cmal's superawesome calc, albeit with the added steps of repeated copypasting). Would also be nice if it displayed the true base proc duration in decimal rather than rounded form... perty please?

A suggestion: would it be possible to have the letters that appear next to a monster during battle replaced with avatars of those monsters? One of the things I really enjoy about the HV are the different pics for spells and effects.

Oh I'm sure it's not a priority at all in terms of game play. I was just thinking it would be a easy thing to change out of everything else people are asking for. Whatever Ten does for the next update I'll personally be happy with it (is easily pleased).

I recall that some time ago (~1 year even) there was at least one person who designed some avatars for the monsters, there was a thread about it. I don't recall why it never went through. But perhaps they could be implemented by the HV STAT (as I don't believe we will see them in the official game anytime soon...)?

Check out those threads: HV icons, HV Pixel art. That was a good start, if mostly forgotten by now.

I would actively oppose any graphical additions to HV if they slow down the page load rate by even .1 milliseconds. If not, or if they can be toggled, then it's fine.

A reason why I have refused to do such a thing via STAT. Slowdowns in HV just make it that much more excruciating to play, and running a GM script to do image replacement is hella slow.

My suggestion. All Icon in HV are more large size than it will be. You can decrease Icon size using JPEG format at 80-90 Quality. It look Nothing differently but save a lot of bandwidth.

Left -> Original PIC 4.61k(PNG) | Right -> compress PIC 1.04k (JPEG at 90 Quality)
