Just make it work like a normal loot roll? (maybe add some stuff you can only get this way) and make the skill eat all your OC?

Maybe we can make the steal skill do 1/2 the damage of a normal attack and it only takes an item if we kill the monster with the skill. Give the skill a really low speed and it becomes a risk just waiting to use it.

At your level Ichy, I can see that from my numbers. Bleed got raped by HP buff. But Estoc's do start becoming better damage dealers, assuming this equation is right.

1-(debuff)*(1-((1-str*0.0004)*(1-end*0.0007)))

bebuff being (1-.5*pen_dummy)*(1-.1*weaken_dummy)*(1-.5*nerf_dummy)

Against a FSM class monster 25 str/end/wis estocs should start beating maces when FSM is level 175

Against a MBP class monster 16 str/end/wis this same thing happens at level 250

So estoc's should be better, especially with the amount of mech/giant/dragon/undead that will be ran into at higher levels. Just mace's have that nice little added benefit of making a monster stunned and thus not able to fight back. This gets more complicated when you through in nerf and weaken.

I care more about how it feels than numbers.
Yeah Estocs deal little better damage but the Stun of Maces is priceless.

Why not the other way around. If HP buff is removed people can play fats on normal again and the stronger ones will waste their power on normal so they will increase the difficulty setting where they can actually make use of their better hear/higher level.
