IMO, the trophies being sold off to the bazaar may most likely be from the lower level players, either they are short of funds, or they have yet to fully understand the game. Personally I haven't seen that many trophies being sold off, or maybe, it just there for a second & gone the next. I think we should still allow the selling/buying of such.

Maybe there should be a threshold for character resets, like up to lvl50 or up to level 100 would be allowed free character resets since lower level always seem to experiment with their characters before deciding on a playing style.

- For every level 300+ characters, add a big, fancy sounding, and eye catching option under the level display. If Tenb manages to fix HV so we will get stronger from level ups it would not be that hard to create a non overpowered Rebirth System. You need to be level 350+ (300 is too easy thanks to custom mobs.) And maybe a expensive training must be done to start re birthing. Just add one new tier to all spells and tanks and make Primary Stat upgrades slightly cheaper. Rebirth however comes with slower EXP gains so you will take long to reach lvl 300+ again. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Perks, Training, Auras, Equipment, Inventory and Monsters will be kept but everything else will be nuked. Not sure if want since it will lock me out from the lucrative Arenas for many months.

Might as well do it VP2-style (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) - Rebirth is unlocked at level 300
- An insanely strong boss/arena must be defeated/completed to be reborn
- After each Rebirth, monster HP scale by one level (1 Rebirth → Normal = Hard, 2 Rebirths → Normal = Heroic, etc.)
- You retain all your stuff (weapons/items)
- Get reborn 10 times and you get the Angel Slayer
- Angel Slayer = weapon with insane ADB/MDB that does completely random damage (ie, useless)

"Rebirth" idea is moronic at best and only works if it has a unique and worthwhile reward waiting at the end. Plus, it's only a gimmicky device to extend gameplay hours when a game is so short that you would feel cheated otherwise. HV doesn't need this because it's free and has unlimited hours of gameplay. And retaining all equipment/items/trainings/monsters/etc? That's a glorified level reset. Games I have played let you keep one weapon, if anything. No one with rare equipment would ever choose this, especially the ones with equipment that can't drop any more. If they did it anyway, it would lead to rampant abuse of Moogle to work around the reset and still keep everything. How about a compromise and a way to turn off exp for increased drops/quality (I know this has been suggested before)
And one good thing about "Rebirth" would be it giving him more time for those that are getting too high up there.

FYI, I didn't ask for, and don't want or care about, this 'Rebirth' feature. ... As for incentive for high difficulty, allow me make an additional propose about incentive for your consideration : I'm not sure if Tenb will have the balls to actually increase the base drop rate as a bonus since it will increase the amount of credit gain as well... How about reduce the chance of ' Junk' equipment drop rate? ... You know- Cotton, Buckler, Leather, and stuff. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) It would stil increase credit gain, but not as much.

Can we have titles that hinder your battle potential but give bonuses as a result? Something that halves the damage done from everything but as a result, you gain more credits, have higher loot quality, more likely to find artifacts, etc.
EDIT: We also need some kind of Autotrainer. Like, you pay enough credits to do X Training Z times and it goes straight to the next level after the current one is finished. Maybe set up a training queue so that you can still select something while training's in progress, but the next one in line will be trained when the current one is done. Although it needs to be updated so that as soon as you start training something, the new display price will be for the next level instead of the one you just paid.

Yup~! Being able to pay in advance and have it train you up to a certain level would save up a lot of time, especially for the cheap, one hour training ones.
