that's not always the case, sometimes it's faster to end the round by casting an AoE on a certain monster then killing the lower health monster with coalesced mana in progress. also if more than one monster has coalesced mana on them, how do you choose?
I don't know exactly how it works, but here is what I THINK: _ Casting an AOE spell on ANY monster gives the same effect (It's AOE after all) _ If that's true, then if there is more than one monster with coalesced mana, choosing any of them is ok.

I may not be Nostradamus but I can already foresee the future.
Tenboro: Alright HV 0.7.you_have[not]been_screwed.04 has been officially released. AOE is now fixed, no longer will they target all monsters, instead they only target a specific area of effect, hence its name. What I'm wondering is how it could be this broken for so long without anyone noticing.

Well, the numbers say that actual play is up by 30% since the patch, so it can't be all bad.
But fine. You want to know the real reason for the HP buff?
The intention was always that people turn up the difficulty as they get stronger, but they weren't doing that, preferring easy mode farming instead. Turning up the loot quality didn't work, so this was another way of trying to balance the cost/benefit ratio of the different difficulties.
Are there other changes that could have the same effect? Yeah, probably, but I'm not going to enter a debate about it.
Because it was still more beneficial to play Normal!
Normal is much better for farming because I can play much more rounds. Only this counts for Crystal farming and for an lesser extend for Credit farming. Better drops alone wont fix it because I cant play enough rounds on IWBTH to find something good.
Instead of HP Buff it would have been better to increase the bonuses for higher Difficulty setting AND introduce some Punishment for NEET gamers. Like after 1000 Rounds of Crysfest/Grindfest the Crystal drops/Credits are reduced.
Back then with old Grindfest Limits and 10 IWs a Day the game worked and everyone was trying to do everything on higher setting.

Make stamina drain increase after you've done 20 stamina worth of rounds in the last 24 hours. Would make Energy drinks more useful for those of use that aren't NEET. I can't find the time to use 40 stamina in a day, but 20 stamina isn't enough.
