On a more serious note, I wonder if it is really an old legit katana (judging from EID) he made for ... some reason a long time ago, or an old gear that he made anew by whack-job hacking it using duct tape to hold various parts together...

If it is the latter, which is what I think to be the case (I mean, its has void damage type), I thought you can't change stats of gear already exist... I'm confused ...? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) ... Or is this rainbow-colored-katana actually give people a clue on how the forge might work and what it could do?! What are you guys talking about, Tenb's Katana had negative B&I just like mine does.

I'm not going to lie, I edited the screen shot of my Katana's page, there's a bug in the system that keeps negative B&I displayed in red. I recolored mine so that the -B&I would be noticed.

Now my insight: maybe that one's produced by the forge system. That's the only way I can think of changing the stat of equipments.
As for forge materials...oh come on, he is Tenb. OBVIOUSLY he has sufficient monsters to produce those materials, just like the fact that he played hard in order to get crystals upon creation of pirate bird. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

What are you talking about? Its obviously produced by the power of rainbow. You can bet your ass that once the forge are on-line, no one can do this kind of thing and it'll be a huge let down, because nobody has rainbow power.

That's the only way I can think of changing the stat of equipments.

At the time when this power was needed, he said he can't. That was before ponies take over though...

LOL, forge talk. Tenboro obviously has a laser spanner. And by laser spanner, I mean he can change entries in the table that stores equipment data.

Either a laser spanner or a sonic screwdriver.

I have suggested some super rare weapons earlier.

Two suggestions,

First, a bargain equipment shop, where the equipment has a quality no higher than fair and has 20 or less levels.

Second, Itemworld rounds conducted like the Arena challenges, e.g., a katana between levels 20 - 29 , to clear one undergoes a challenge equal to the "A Rolling Stone" from the Arena.

So after dicking around with some different kind of weapons I have the following Suggestion to make:

For PA add following effect:
- Striking a monsters that is Stunned or Sleeping has its armor Penetrated with a physical attack will now cause twice the normal damage.
Or maybe reduce Stun to 25% and give 50% to PA.

Same could go for Bleeding wound but a critical Wound status would sound more awesome.
Something like hitting a bleeding monster will cause critical wound = 50% higher Bleed AND poison damage.

This way all 3 types would have a strong point.
Mazes are the safe style while Estocs will deal lots of damage and Bleeder will be awesome against High HP foes.

Probably already been requested, but a Boss Marathon would be nice.
Right now we jump from 3 Legendary-ish + something-that-looks-like-a-boss (T&T) to 52 Legendaries + 1 Boss (End of Days).

Maybe ability to really hit stunned monsters - missing a stunned monster is both funny and annoying.

How about paying credits or extra tokens to repeat bosses?

I think the rationale behind missing stunned monsters is that they're already unable to fight back while stunned and your attacks do more damage. Guaranteed hits against stunned monsters when you can easily stuns handfuls at a time would make Maces as broken as they were when you could perma-stun.

I do think perma-stun is rather dumb, though.

What, really? I thought the perma-stun was a huge advantage, which is why Tenboro removed it in the first place.

Mace do shitty damage back then. Hardly anyone use it.
