I still think the interference penalty should be logarithmic or inverse exponential, like (interference)^0.6)/100 being the percentage loss of proficiency.

Yes I understand it's fun to make a fool out of someone when you don't have the intelligence to reply in a proper manner. The safety brought by anonymity is what make people like that "brave".

If you have something against threads where you are forced to talk politely, you are either:

3) Not understanding something, want to know the fastest way, want to know how to use the least mana ? If you think what is happening is a bug.
4) You could spam here when you think there's lag and be confirmed or denied. You could do it here without receiving evil hate trolling your post might get at hentaiverse chat, since someone already asked about it.
5) Replacing or renaming the Can We Has Thread.
6) No spam allowed. Post here something that happened that you think was something you're proud of/want to make an official note of/funny/unexpected/bug/strange/something you want commented/something you haven't seen before
7) Talking about events, chatting with the man, providing stupid tips to the man, discussing front page posts in more detail. (I already made this but the ponyloving staff managed to drive me in a fury which lead to my temporary ban)

If there's no event at halloween, I will launch armageddon on the human race.

This kind of sucks. No, let me rephrase that. It's definitely inevitable if it lets you improve existing equip. However there's a better solution. Why not give each piece of equipment a few slots to add materials to it. Let's say we give a piece 5 slots (# perhaps dependent on quality), you go to the Forge and add materials to improve it by filling these slots. At that point the item is automatically locked from being sold or traded. (Isn't necessary though.)
But it should also be possible to remove materials from the slots. Which will make it tradeable again.

Well another reason I'm saying this is because I was under the impression that old equipment will not benefit from the forge cause of the way the equip is generated. Something about the reason why the prefixes were removed. In any case. A slot based system would (or should) work with any equipment.

The forge will probably be where we can convert Soul eths into Void eths. No idea if it'll be a distinct feature or just part of the upgrade process (if eths can even be upgraded, Dad might add the eth material when the update hits so people can't amass them yet).

It would be fun to have a token converter, if you dont want to have some chaos tokens or any other token, you go into a serie of fight to convert it into, say..., per example a heal token that you know you will need after some grindfest, or some blood token because you need them for a fight against some rare monsters. The number of rounds would be randomnized between 1 and 20 (no need to go into a sixty round just to change an unwanted token into a wanted token). Another proposition I have is, depending on the type of fighting you do (dual-wield and such), would it be possible to have fighting skills separate from the magic skills, like, for a dual-wield fighter, hitting two monsters at once (depending on a percent of chance hit included into the skill) or a defensive skill that makes you strike back after blocking a monster (with a higher chance of happening if you fight against one monster but decrease when fighting more than one monster). Those fighting skills could rest on the stamina system, the more you use them, the more your stamina decrease because they are hard to do. And a last proposition is a weapon/armor customizer as well as a weapon/armor recycler. I ask for them because the monster we create can give us some materials from time to time. I cant seem to figure what to do with them, but with both of those, it could be a good source of ressources to upgrade weapons, customize them or convert them into another king of weapon (example, a club into a staff, a long sword into a short sword, with a success percentage of doing it right, making it possible for a failed conversion were you get a lower weapon instead of a higher weapon, accompanied with some rounds of fighting to augment the success rate, but hard fights against uncommon monsters only). Those are my three suggestions.

Broken record ahoy! I know I've brought up IW a lot, but this is my favorite idea. If we are going to borrow from Disgaea, well, lets borrow from Disgaea more. I see no balance problem in allowing equip to level more quickly. The whole economy is already heavily weighted towards high level players and buying their gear specifically so you don't have to use the IW, because the IW does not yield a good return for time invested. It'd be nice to be able to use gear I found instead of it being quickly outdated. I use exactly one piece of gear I found myself even even that I don't run through item world...

Well, lets put it in the perspective of a casual player. I play ~ 200-300 rounds a day tops. Given the piss poor returns on IW, IW is pretty much out for me baring a find of a legendary katalox staff of destruction or some other equally improbable piece of gear.

Me too, mainly due to two reasons:
1. It's so easy to get 30-40 legend trophies per day.
2. I don't have that amount of credits (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Can we has a WTT (want to trade) forum for trading items ?
Yes I know it will frustrate people who forget to place a ridiculously high price to make sure it's a trade.
First use for this forum would be to trade Figurines and the Halloween objects that AREN'T THERE !!

Thought up another use ! Wut I'm smart or slow.
Trading high quality monster loot between wizards and melee fighters.
Can also be used to trade between ethereal piercers/slashers/stunners.
Smart people would of course trade 1000 credits for 100,000 credits.

Item World is fine as it is if you just want to keep your gear at level.
Problem is it is stupid if you want to increase it by a few 100 levels. because of this I don't even look at WTS anymore.

My Suggestion would be to add a Montage like Feature to auto level a piece of Equipment.
HUGE gains when it is much lower then yourself but hardy any gains when close to your level. Also a ridiculous Cooldown like '1 piece each week'
It could also cost a lot of Credits to make people think twice about doing it.
