QUOTE(Battle_Hunter @ Aug 25 2011, 13:11) proficiencies reset
Not sure why anyone would want this. They aren't something from which you would get any "points" back if you reset them. Auras aren't that big of a deal in the long run as well, you max them out @ 320. The recent addition of stat adjustments is plenty. You can re-align your character to a completely different build with ease over a few days.

QUOTE(Maximum_Joe @ Aug 25 2011, 23:22) you max them out @ 320. 340 without extra aura points, but your point stands. Reseting your proficiencies would only hurt your character considering there are only drawbacks for playing a "pure" character in the HV, especially due to occasional and lulzy nerfs. A full-blown reset sounds like a complete waste unless you somehow wrecked your character using something you shouldn't use. Donating enough money will also grant you additional aura points. A option top let us choose between daily Arenas or Weekly Arenas. Choosing weekly will give 5x more of everything but has 7 days cooldown. Only normal and hard are available to prevent some weird people from IWBTHing it every weekend (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Sounds like another great idea for semi-active players and people on HV rehab. This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: Aug 26 2011, 12:50

This would somewhat close the gap between normal players and Bunko (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I'm such a normal person, though I have less life than a person in a coma. Can we has less of this: Snowflake has blessed you with some of her power! Received one ability pointWhen all my abilities are maxed out. Or let's just has another powerbar while we're at it. I bet there's already a hidden powerbar waiting for us at lvl 400, race you there ! (IMG:[ i25.lulzimg.com] http://i25.lulzimg.com/8b931b.jpg) This post has been edited by Bunko: Aug 27 2011, 00:36

nope on his level he'd need 118 AP from Artifacts after full Ability Boost. I don't know what are the odds for getting an AP from an Artifact but it doesn't look very good because there are 6 stats (which he has possibly filled), 13 kind of crystals and 1 possibility of an AP. plus like Joe said below, I forgot energy drinks. this makes total 15 to 21 possibilities, depending on how much stats are full. Although I'm not really sure if Bunko is one of them, but if he is one of the 'older' player (have been playing HV for more than a year or so), which I believe he is, and not so poor and lazy like myself... He would be like most of the high lv mage around here, which have bazillion AP left after filling every ability available to them since in the older days, AP is so easy to get from artifact. My OC boost is maxed at lv ~120 plus full HP/MP tank and all the supporting and deprecating I need, and I only have 38 Ability Boost training and barely get any artifact at that time... you're about 12 months longer here than bunko. I read somewhere that ability boost was at some time tuned down to 100 and I think that was before bunko. would be nice if he responds himself but IMO bunko didn't fill up all tiers, because frith joined 9 months earlier than bunko and he said somewhere at the forum his tiers aren't all full yet. IIRC my question was if magic mitigation is useful. does supressive darkness and eternal night help you to get less damage from FSM or not? does searing radiance and spirit nexus protekt you from spirit attacks?

Only 300 because I was trading all my Artifacts for Crystals back during the massive speculation period and before the Energy Drinks replaced the "Special" item category for drops. Now its like 50% Crystals.

I'll gladly take a 100 or so off your hands. At least I'd put them to good use.

Suppressive Darkness and Eternal Night will reduce incoming dark damage, so yes. Searing Radiance and Spirit Nexus will only help with spirit attacks if they are soul-type. For gods, this isn't even relevant because you'd need 80-85% soul resistance to actually make it useful, even on Normal. A mere 30% extra resistance will still make their spirit attacks drain the maximum amount of base SP with Spirit Shield on. If you want to IWBTH Real Life for some reason, filling those Soul resistance tiers might be useful, since its regular attack type is Soul.
