Request: Option to pay 20 stamina to create an energy drink. (Or if you like pay 30 stamina to create one.)

You know that thread where I recently explained the reasoning for not allowing token transfers? As in, to not encourage idiots to create multiple accounts? Think about it.

multiple accounts -> bans -> less idiots I don't see what's wrong with this. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) But honestly easily solved with something like an untradeable Stamina token.

Those Chaos tokens could actually bring more chaos. I understand the fact that we need the potential for more diversity (and powerhouses) in the HV, but if some people aren't using theirs or making PL 0 failures that probably serve no purpose other than clogging up the database ( (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ), the potential is kind of wasted. Anything planned, or should we just consider this as classified information and keep saving them ? This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: Jun 24 2011, 16:55

I kinda want to wait for the new version before requesting this since there seem to be some kind of an overhaul. But since I haven't heard Tenb mentioned about bleed, so........... Maybe it's just me, but with the ADM improvement, new prof mechanics, stamina, agitate feature ... Bleed seem a little bit underpower now. Indeed, the only reason I still use it is because I have to... I've request some improvement to bleed some time ago. Then again, giving it more power might not be a good idea after all, since it would conflict with PA and might make PA less popular again. How about bleeding a monster "cripple" it in some way? Maybe like doing 10% less damage, which doesn't sound too bad.

Chaos Tokens will be sort of like Ability Points for monsters.

Is this going to be like crystals and you'll just be able to go on forever (next upgrade 10,000 chaos tokens sort of thing) or will there be a reasonable limit on the number you can use?

Depends how you define "reasonable". I haven't settled on the specifics, but it should be feasible to max them.

A monster ability tree is in the making, then. Thanks for the information.

Suggestion regarding IW's, yes it's another one:
Allow multiple completions of a single piece of equipment in IW within a certain time frame such that: - First completion takes away 1 IW - Second completion takes away 2 IW's - Third completion takes away 3 IW's - Fourth completion takes away 4 IW's - Fifth completion takes away 5 IW's
Here's an example, consider someone with maxed Spelunker. Total IW's possible - 20, Normal time frame between each completion - 10 hours.
So if this person completes one item 5 times within a 10 hour time frame, he would have 5 IW's left (20-1-2-3-4-5 = 5).
*Waits for the "bad suggestion, you should feel bad" response*

I don't think anything that supports allowing items to be cleared more than once per day is going to get a response like that. I'm pretty sure everyone is overwhelmingly in favor of removing the once per day cap. I remember suggesting a straight out removal of the cap awhile back, and may or may not have missed response as to why that would be a bad idea, given that we already are "capped" to an extent by stamina and spelunker.

Hey, I maxed Spelunker, but it mostly goes to waste. Why can't I use all 20 daily levelings on the same piece of equipment? Having to spend months and months leveling one piece of equipment is serious horseshit. In the meantime, Tenboro is boosting base stats of weapons left and right, making the legendary staff lose some of it's grandeur relative to other EDB specific staffs, and I haven't even gotten to use it yet.
And it's not just about the staff. Virtually anything bought out of the equipment bazaar is worthless as well, no matter how good it is.

I'm guessing Tenboro thought that allowing an item to be cleared 20 times a day would be imbalanced? I know many people have made similar suggestions and they were all either ignored or outright rejected. I thought about it a bit and came up with the current system. It's a good trade off if you want to level items faster. It's not ground breaking fast or anything but it's a hell of a lot faster than the current system. Having to use up more IW's for each additional completion seems like a good compromise to exceed the current limit.

Works for me. Like I said, anything over once per day is better than, well, once per day.

Actually, screw IW. Just let us pay a flat rate per level to level up. Tenboro is all about credit sinks anyway, so what's one more? That way I would also stop having people asking me to level stuff for them all the time. Win-Win.

Well shit. I was literally in the middle of writing a msg to you asking about that rofl. The problem would be that like everything else it wouldn't be a flat rate; it would go up exponentially (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
