The problem is i leveled to much, because from fighting all day, i got much more xp than cash, wich means my level improved faster than my skills and my equipment.

Now i am at a point where the monsters are nearly impossible to beat..no matter if arena, grindfest, itemworld or..randomspawns...so all i can do is stop playing at all and wait to get cash from the uploaded stuff to continue my skilling..without getting further xp..

You don`t get killed because you cant buy more Trainings.

You get killed because your Profs are lacking behind.
You get killed because you have not maxed your HP tanks.
You get killed because your items are bad.

Go back to easy and cake for some days.

There's really no need to restart. You're far too low level to have ruined your character, if that's even possible. You won't really even hit your stride for a while now. Stats can be changed over time and you can always reset your ability page. Plus there's montage to help catch up lagging proficiencies.

Basically, I can't see any situation where it'd be impossible to get a character back on track. For example, there's no way it's that hard to scrape together a few thousand credits to buy some decent equipment from some of the WTS threads.

The only thing that can't easily be fixed would be aura selection since there's such a limited number of aura points available. (Not enough points to max all auras even at level 250 without donating a considerable amount of money)

it's not that i've ruined my character, rather than i'd like to start over and take it on a completely different route, and since there's no way of resetting Auras and/or Primary Attributes, well, there's only so much you can change

also, resetting one's level to 0 sounds like a fair trade in exchange of a do-over, perhaps there could be some limiters involved to prevent abuse, like say, you can only be "reborn" after level 25, or there's A SINGLE do-over opportunity, after you use that you're stuck with whatever you make your character

In theory, you could start a new character on a dupe account. But that wouldn't be safe, dupe accounts are deleted when found.

There's absolutely no point in a function that resets level unless it has benefits like letting you keep accumulated AP and Aura Points. Which will never happen..
Anyways... a level reset is unnecessary.
The easiest way for you is.. ask Tenboro to delete your account and create a new one. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

while i have no problems in doing that, i don't really feel like bothering our admin for something so trivial, i take it Tenboro is quite busy and if people go around asking for personal favors he'll either lose it and snap, or just deny/ignore all requests

You might also look at it differently. He wrote once "16 PMs. Slow day." , so one more wouldn't make much of a difference. Also, he's good at scripting everything that bothers him and can be scripted, so since he didn't make this an option, he probably gets requests to reset character very rarely. Yours is the first I ever read in the forums.

i have seen some people in this thread wanting a way to upgrade shitty equipment so i know i am not the only one who gets sick of getting straight trash all the time. well, i thought of a way to upgrade the quality of equips that would work well i think. when offering an artifact at the shrine there could be a chance of having snowflake upgrade your equipment for you, something like this:

Snowflake wants to upgrade your equipment! please select the piece of equipment you want upgraded, any items you currently have equipped cannot be upgraded.

It has been suggested before. It, also, will probably never happen due to the OMG-Redonculousness at high levels.

It also probably wouldn't fix anything. In order to balance the fact that all the high-levels would have full sets of Magnificent/Legendary equipment and be running around with 80% evade, Tenboro would have to further nerf equipment. Meaning lower levels would still get screwed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The solution for equipment woes and really, all woes, is to level up. A lot.

Yeah that solution favours high level players way too much.
How about a special IW run that has a chance of improving quality upon completion and can be started once a week or once a month. AAND to thwart situations like 'full sets of Magnificent/Legendary equipment and be running around with 80% evade' it should be regulated by probabilities depending on the quality:

Eg.
Flimsy -> Crude 90% chance of upgrade upon completion
Crude -> Fair 80% chance of upgrade upon completion
Fair -> Average 60% chance of upgrade upon completion
Average -> Fine 20% chance of upgrade upon completion
Fine -> Superior 5% chance of upgrade upon completion
Superior -> Magnificent 0.10% chance of upgrade upon completion
Magnificent -> Legendary 0.01% chance of upgrade upon completion

That would give everyone the CHANCE to upgrade their equipment and it's not abusable since it can only be started once a week (or month whatever).

Also, I don't think anyone would be happy with an "upgrade" option because it would likely entail a re-roll on stats, and as everyone knows, "higher quality" pieces of equipment are not always better.

That won't happen, the stat ranges for each quality grade are the same, or very very small. What better quality grade does is to define a better roll for all stats.

I think exquisite should drop occasionally at +20 LoD.
New kind of event trophies like mysterious boxes, but with with small chance to get magnificent/legendary grade should be made, offered randomly, or generated on bazzar, and as award for stars.

Sure, but when I was referring occasionally, it was on normal setting.

Playing on battletoads already gives you a +500 bonus to the loot roll in addition to a 4x bonus to the monster stat calculations for loot quality on mobster drops(...)

Maybe, but you have to agree that better stuff shouldn't be common. That's what would happen if you could combine artifacts and trophies in the shrine to get better stuff, even if you had to pay 100.000C for each piece.
