What about allowing more types of buffer spells to be in Innate Arcana slots like Absorb? I would love to be not have to cast that every time

It decreases whenever major changes are made to the ability system. The problem is that those are few and far between. 4.0 was, what, 10 months ago?

How about monsters having weaknesses to certain types of melee damage like they do to elemental damage?

Like slimes are weak to piercing but resistant to blunt?

The problem is that this really wouldn't serve any purpose since you can't change melee damage type on the fly like you can with spells. And it would probably piss off all the high level melees who can normally one shot mobs anyways. (cmal and ??? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif))

It'd have some use if/when we ever got some melee skills that lets us change our damage type.

Actually, monsters are not necessarily equally susceptible to all three damage types. For example, Ryouko seems to take more damage from Slashing than Piercing. I don't think there's much information on the subject, though.

How about a skill that lets you AoE a debuff spell?

Like the guard skill or Focus skill, you spend one turn using it, than next turn you cast like Weakened and it has a chance to hit all enemies on the field.

It's really annoying to cast each spell individually >.<

AoE Weaken would be far too useful. There is X-Nerf at level 200, though.

How about some Morale skills. E.g. Warcry to raise your own morale with appropriate effects.
And maybe something like [Mystic/Cursed/Ruin] Dance to lower morale of enemies.
As for usefulness it could affect anything from efficiency of techniques (in this case Procs), in-battle stats or burden/interference.

Now that I think about it. How about Psyche for mages.
Morale affecting physical aspects and Psyche (Meditation to raise own, Mindbreak to lower enemies) for spells and so on. (SaGa Frontier 2)

You know it sounds kinda nice.. use Mindbreak to increase enemies interference. Just an idea. Basically morale/psych could affect anything not too gamebreaking.
And it's even more interesting if they're paid with SP. And also used as Innate Aracana paid with SP. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

How about adding spear as a two-handed, piercing weapon? There are three two-handed slashing weapons but only one piercing. Now that I think about it, also one crushing, so maybe something like morning star with crushing wouldn't be bad too.

What about adding an option to work into the game..to get cash and no to very little xp?

That way you could upgrade your skills and inventory without getting further level, wich always means the game to get harder.

so you have to options..spend real cash to improve your chances or upload every shit you can get from somewhere..

no wonder some people tried continously to upload copied stuff, hm?

when you cannot reach solid ground in the game no matter how hard you search for real new stuff, the desperation make you do anything..

You can easily make credits AFTER you put some effort into it.
Do some item worlds > sell loot > level up scavenger, Luck of the draw and quartermaster > grind more.
If you manage to reach level 100+ arenas you can farm so much credits you can`t possibly fap that much.

The problem is i leveled to much, because from fighting all day, i got much more xp than cash, wich means my level improved faster than my skills and my equipment.

Now i am at a point where the monsters are nearly impossible to beat..no matter if arena, grindfest, itemworld or..randomspawns...so all i can do is stop playing at all and wait to get cash from the uploaded stuff to continue my skilling..without getting further xp..
