I'm not in the mood to make a verbose explanation right now... but here's something:


- Look at how much AP you need to fill all OC Boost so that you can melee effectively. A lot, eh? Now look at how much point needed for Elem Rating and how large the benefits you get... That's why I said that even if can do more damage with new EDB gear, mage still get nerf hard because of the rating change.

- The testimonies from people switch from melee to mage were evidently enough... unless you're blind.

On the topic of melee skills:

I don't know if I'm already stating the obvious but they should be listed in 'skills', be trainable in a different skilltree and use either spirit, health and/or very little mana. IMO, anyways.

Expect they wouldn't be harder for you, like for most mages people. Just easier and faster with the same monotony, tedium and boredom, and allowing to have more free time to do other challenges, so in the end you just want more profit, which tenb doesn't want....

I think the main idea trying to be pushed here is making the arenas shorter by number of rounds but not shorter in clock time taken to complete. So a difficult superboss creature might take the place of 50+ rounds of rinse-repeat.

A bossfight at the end of every Arena would make Trio and the Tree look less special. Only this and possible the level 300 one (since it is the last arena) should have unique Bosses at the end.

I think you've forgotten how long it is between unlocking arenas. Its going to weeks to me to get to Trio, and then months to get to End of Days. Thats a long time for Trio to be special.

Fight on IWBTH, you can get at least a level a day.

Ed: yes, even without the gold star.

Ed2: no, it doesn't have to be more item- and/or time consuming if you do it right.

Superboss ok, but not just more legendaries instead of 1 per round.

The boss already explained why, he doesn't want to waste time to code (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Anyway this is why monster lab is good, will make a "unique" final round.

Actually almost forgot this, but a easier solution would be just preventing supportive spells of being channeled.

My main Idea is to make endgame Arenas challenging. Now the biggest challenge is to do the same shit over and over again without falling asleep.
If it is hard it would be more fun. If it becomes so hard I can`t beat it... well I have some motivation to get stronger again (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
