Make scrolls competitive!

As you level up you gain ability points and improve your spells. You eventually get to the point where the difference between scroll and spell is very small. Let them have a boost maybe through another ability or perk or maybe... TITLE!

Also, do something with titles.

be able to forge mystic, charged, frugal, savage, agile, mithril respectively prefixed gear. it would be minute quantities, but hey it's a credit sink, and makes the game more fun.

When all that actually happens I think this game will finally be entering beta.

That's a lot of grind. I mean, so far we have only 3 monsters at max level. Now imagine doing the same thing on all 200 slots. You would singlehandedly revive the crystal market!

Are there monsters that are fully chaos'd?

Soul fragments should have another use, to not end up just filling the database in a way worst than old potions.

I feel too much soul fragment too.

Root of the problem is that not enough good equips dropping that would necessitate the requirement for soul fragments. I thought that's what this whole equipment nerf patch was about? I've leveled 5x since 0.82, and not even a hint of an upgrade drop.

holy (which I quit) - 5/5 are all pre
dark - all 5/5 were pre, had to buy all new post 0.82
wind - 4/5 are pre, won the single upgrade in lottery

It was, but the standard crystal number given to someone with no crystarium was 100, so even if you had crystarium 3, you got half as many crystals as you do now by default.

The new crystarium perks didn't change it at all. What do you get now with no crystarium? 1000?

You always get 1000 crystals from artifacts now, no matter what.

Suggestion: Get a MoogleMail or something when you win something in the lotto.

I don't think leveling up after lv400 help me finding better equipment.
Maybe we need new arenas for 300-500, and a final crazy battle at 500.

You always get 1000 crystals from artifacts now, no matter what.

So reapply Crystarium to the base 1000.

1000 crystals is trash compared to alternatives like ED or even 2 hath. Actual market value of 1000 crystals: 30k/12 = 2500 credits.
