Multiply the proficiency gain from higher level spell by at least their cooldown.
It will still be a loss compared to using the lowest level spell (since the prof gain rate is never 100%), but not as bad.

edit: oh yeah, let's repeat the idea of gaining prof from using skills, since it's close as a topic.

It was, but the standard crystal number given to someone with no crystarium was 100, so even if you had crystarium 3, you got half as many crystals as you do now by default.

Give us the option to play REs while doing arenas/grindfest/item world. E.G: the player is doing a grindfest run, the RE triggers and the player is sent to face off its monsters. If the player wins, he continues the run with the vitals from the previous RE . In case of defeat, the player resumes the run but with all its vitals (HP/MP/SP) down to 1.

Also, is there any chance to get the trainings instantaneously instead of waiting huge amounts of time?.

I don't know about that, but it does seem quite silly that it feels more profitable to quit in the middle of a battle series just to play a RE.

That's the whole point though... if you have something great, better to have it "stuck" with you and permanently have stats in the M-L range (hopefully) than to have it degrade to Superior equivalent or less after a few levels. Right?

I feel too much soul fragment too. I regret to open the soul fragment perk now.
Most of equipment gaining from lottery not drop make it worse.

I suggest:

Add a new upgrade only available to soulfused item, the upgrade use both Soul fragments and materials.
It can add a new prefix to your equipment.

Rather than adding a prefix how about just a reroll of prefix and suffix? This would also include the possibility of removing the prefix all together.

For example, if I had Magnificent Ruby Shade Boots of the Fleet, it could be rerolled into Magnificent Shade Boots of the Arcanist.

This would be similar to how amnesia shards reset item world items. It would also add an element of risk if your gear has a good, but not ideal combination of prefix/suffix.

Also, if the mats were soul fragments and catalysts then it would at the same time provide a potential credits sink if someone want to keep trying until they get the combination they want.
