I wish there was an "Easy" mode where poor/casual/inattentive/poorly equipped players could do without fearing that their condition put them in serious threat of death, even against 10 monsters. Of course rewards quality would fall/be set to minimum accordingly, but it's to be able to play without worry for a change.

Normal difficulty is easy enough nowadays. Fun fact: There were easier modes back when I started playing.

Around level 300, I'd think that nearly anyone would be able to play at least Hell, even with trashy equipment. I know 1h at level 300 can play PFUDOR with trashy equipment. So I don't know how an easier difficulty than Normal would help anyone. Unless maybe they were playing blind or something... ??

The problem comes around if you want to play PFUDORfest, I should think. Even Normalfest is probably a bit hairy right at the end.

If someone's aiming for playing and finishing something that high, I don't think they have the right to be complaining about how difficult the rounds get (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) That's something for serious players, not for "poor/casual/inattentive/poorly equipped players".

True, true... except that if you had a look at uareader, he doesn't really fit the profile of such a player either. Less than 10 months in and he's at level 295. With 5 Gold Stars and 2 Toplist awards. Yeah. Not exactly poor, I don't think. Inattentive, maybe. @skillchip: Yes, not fond of bots myself.

It just occurred to me that the default keyboard shortcuts for "Spirit", "Defend", and "Focus" (sdf) are all in a row on a QWERTY keyboard. This begs the question: why isn't "a" the default keyboard shortcut for "Attack"? I know there's a userscript to map keys to abilities, but I feel this should be done by default. While we're at it, I think "Attack" should be moved so that "Attack", "Spirit", "Defend", and "Focus" are all next to each other (to correspond with asdf).

Why would you ever use keyboard shortcut for such a button? Just click on the monster, or use the direct keyboard shortcut to attack monster number. Selecting "attack" first is unnecessary.

Selecting "attack" first is unnecessary. When playing as mage, I will cast a spell and immediately select my next spell. Sometimes when I see a target with Coalesced Mana, instead of casting the selected spell, I decide I want to melee it instead in order to proc Ether Tap. Since I already have a spell selected, I need to click on the "Attack" command in order to melee my target.

Press spell shortcut again and the spell will be canceled, and number key will then standard attack. That's what I do at least, since my finger is already on the spell key, I just press it again. (Then again I'm using HV Keybinds - if you're using a different script it might be different)

And for those that don't know, a keybind for Attack would be nice and would take all of 5 minutes to code.

Even if it's a "tissue" with the only use of being sold for 1 credit (I think this come from a Final Fantasy game (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ), I which there was some consolation prize for the lottery when playing lots of tickets.
