e.g. Silent spell also infect reduce MMI and elemental specific mitigation up to 10 @500 proficiency.
Blind spell also infect reduce PMI and physical specific mitigation up to 10 @300 proficiency.
BTW, please also increase the max target of some debuff spells, liked blind. Or they will never be used besides boss fight.

As long as no level scaling for specific mitigation. I do not see the reason to keep those specific mitigation suffix.

If there is no slaughter, than Battlecaster would be useful. Also, if ethereal weapon do not have 0 interference, or ethereal weapons are removed ,Battlecaster will have more benefit over other weapons.
Since every weapon can have void damage type at level 10. Why ethereal weapon still exist?
Here is my conclusion:
- Remove slaughter suffix for the following weapon (estoc/longsword/swordsword/rapier/waki).
- Let heal/buff/debuff spells got some extra bonus from proficiency. And remove imperil completely.
- Let specific mitigation scale with level.
- Let ethereal weapon having interference.
So, melee character will be even slower but they will also be tougher.
Heavy armor having much better physical defense due to the scaling of specific mitigation. So 2H can be useful again, at least on low difficulty.
Since debuff spell also can slightly increase damage output, battlecaster will be more useful.
