Someone buys thousands of hath worth of HV perks, then convinces themselves that they've quit and they'll never play again. They get 10% back. Then they relapse and have to buy them all again at full price. It's win/win!

Looking at each style separately, Rapier/Estoc: It is too good/everything else is too bad, the penetrated armor gives you ~250% more damage (pretty much every mob has 70%+ mitigation).

Yeah, I am planning a major balance pass for 0.83 (that is, the patch after the upcoming one), and changes on mitigation versus HP will likely happen. Which isn't saying that monsters won't have mitigation, but it would be less, or be monster class dependent.

It'd be nice if equipment sets also saved the title. I use Dovahkiin for some sets and Godslayer for others and it's annoying to manually change it every time.
Furthermore, I think it would be better if unusable skills didn't disappear from the quickbar leaving an empty slot but stayed permanently grayed out or something. For example, if I change the title to Godslayer, FUS RO DAH skill disappears from the quickbar and won't come back after I change it back to Dovahkiin. Similarly, although less common: if I change the fighting style without changing the equipment set, the skills of the previous style disappear and I will have to manually restore them when returning to the previous style.

Given the large gap in price of bindings maybe a binding recycler, trade in 2-3 bindings for a random binding.

I like nerf all the time, so I can try some different styles.

As long as they make every fighting style a viable end-game, I am pro-change. --- QUOTE(treesloth @ Feb 12 2015, 03:34) Another suggestions, make a new Ring of Blood called 'Dante's nine levels of Hell' (with nine rounds, obviously) with new insane and various number of bosses, such that only the most powerful players are able to barely complete it. These bosses' special magic attacks can't be blocked by shield, only shielding. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Then make the arena clear bonus something really good, and acct bound. +1 for multi-round powerful boss, but token cost should be adjusted as well. -1 for block nerf. For troll drop issue, I still can't fathom why inter-player equipment trade to be avoided by buffing drop. To be honest, auction is fun (when I have credit to spend, which unfortunately occur very rarely) and there's nothing wrong to exhange good drop by trading. Why won't you end the exclusivity of mmax equipments instead? I mean, supmax should be sufficient to survive PF, albeit requiring extra care. Exmax+ should be for extra speed. And if survivability non-issue makes the game unchallenging, why don't introduce random boss appearance? I think it would be fun if there's a chance of FSM appearance when doing 50+ arena at BT+. --- QUOTE(skillchip @ Feb 13 2015, 07:21) Explosions Explosions need to do more damage to be viable. Explosions would be more attractive if they actually exploded, doing AoE damage, otherwise rename them to implosions.
+1 If this can make rainbow mage viable, it would be awesome. Also read somewhere arcanist makeover to give secondary strike scaling damage. I'd love to imagine arcanist set treat secondary strike (and infusions) as magic damage. And to improve it even more, to have wand introduced so arcanist wearer can dual wield rapier/club/whatever and wand for versatility. Player can choose to wield wand in either mainhand or offhand to decide which kind of damage to be his main. It won't be as amazing as dual-wield shield, but extra layer of complexity can add more fun for player. --- QUOTE(cmos @ Feb 25 2015, 17:53) It'd be nice if equipment sets also saved the title. Add difficulty to be bound with equipment set! Nothing more frustrating than entering battle which you can't survive because you're wearing the wrong set.

It would be neat if monster gift from delivering fatal blow to also announce which player it kills. And it would be super if some jokes added into it. There would be a feeling of pride whenever you read simple announcement like: "!your monster 'Tony Stark of Winterfell' sends 'Ichy (464)' to his/her demise at round 995 of Grindfest" or it's more playful variant: "!your monster 'Alexander the Pretty Good' steps on 'danixx (500)' feet causing spell casting mishap at round 94 of Item World" It would get old after somewhile, but if contest being held for bindings in return of fresh joke (in the same manner as e-hentai banner), I think it can be super fun. Also, a birth of new spam thread (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

A level reset system please. With or without reborn bonus are unimportant. As there is no way to gain low level experience in the current/future patch for us.

It should balance something like PA or imperil and make the game system more clear. Nice idea!

if it means you convert mobs' mitigation to hp, please reconsider. Especially if after patch niten still need the same turns count in killing the same mob (example: without pa, now niten needs x turns to kill certain mob, after the patch - with nerfed mit & buffed hp, niten still need x turns). Niten relies on skyward sword for damage buff & it will be slower because pa becomes less useful. In short, if you want to convert mitigation to hp, please make it gimped or buff the skill. Yeah, it is a buff for mobs. Never expect any buff for chars. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Could also just change bleed scaling from 40/80/120/160/200 to something higher, or less stacks, or a whole other multitude of things, two patches from now
