Suggestion: at the weapon selection screen of Item World, make a tab with all gears with a level of at least 1 and set that tab as the default one.

How about changing the gift from monsters to other things account Bound trophies rather than forge material, and also make the shrine results account Bound? Then make monsters in fights drop materials and bindings from time to time. The credits sink so called catalyst require someone actually forge to work.
It is not fun to see some old trainers monopoly all the resource and control the market. On the other hand, I won't care those trainer got a few peerless pieces if they cannot sell (the top players won't sell peerless anyway).

I was assuming that it would fall into the category of a random monster drop like an artifact. In which case everyone has near equal chances to get them. As an alternative, add a battle mode for forge materials, whose rounds number/difficulty scales with the item bot/shop value of the material. an expensive material would require to pass through a difficult series of battles. Though I can already hear DYasha saying something like "same problem newbies won't be able to clear to get the items". Another alternative is add an account bound item that monsters drop, that can be used as a substitute for a binding/rare material (possibly for x amount of the dropped item). This should make it easier/cheaper to

Make Holy spells inflict Blunted Attack (-10% attack, Dark resistance lowered by 25) and Dark spells inflict Breached Defense (-10% MMI, Holy resistance lowered by 25). It would fit the elements better (defense for holy, attack for dark).

In my view, the -10% damage debuff should be changed. Fire and dark's debuff are the same,just the description is different... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Geomancy: New proficiency and spell group Has three flavors of damage Piercing, Slashing, and Crushing. Each spell has a chance of adding a debuff increasing damage from the next group as well as doing something else special like the elemental debuffs, maybe even switch it up and have them buff the player based on the number of monsters carrying the debuffs. These spells damage would be boosted by Physical Damage Bonuses, which would be carried on gear with a new suffix (insert name here).
Suggestions to go with this:
Combine all Primary Elements (Fire/Cold/Wind/Elec) into Elemental Damage Bonus. Holy and Dark would be combined into Spiritual Damage Bonus. In cases where gear contain more then one of these bonuses, the highest would be retained. This would encourage people to try to use the elemental cycling because it would not be a detriment to use various spells and instead would be conducive the process because of explosions and the decreases of specific mitigation that comes with the debuffs placed by spells.
With above, there are now three remaining prefixes for weapons, Ethereal, Elemental, Spiritual, and a fourth physical based one added, (insert name here). These prefixes randomly pick a strike from their groups every swing, adding fun.
With the reduced prefix tables it would be a good time to add a few specific prefixes to each weapon type. These can either be something as simple as increasing a stat much like the current prefixes do, or they can be chance based by adding a proc to the weapons. These could be almost anything, but will need to be balanced properly of course. Variety here is good as long as they all have proper niches that make it so they are all have a place to shine and one doesn't always win.
With the reduced suffix tables for staffs, cotton and phase, it would also be a good time to add a few suffixes to all of these.
