Good idea. Another solution is binding the difficult set with equipment set. So we can easily pick a set for different battle.

QUOTE(Kurt91 @ Jan 5 2014, 03:45) Would it be possible to set up the difficulty individually for each type of battle, or be able to set it in an easier/more convenient fashion than the Settings page? I don't think I'd be able to deal with a high difficulty Arena or Item World, but I could probably manage it on a Random Encounter. Heck, maybe just have it as a selection on the main Arena/Grindfest/Item World pages so you can click what difficulty you want before going in. There's more than enough empty space.
By the way, have any of these requests ever actually made it into the game, or are we just wasting our time with wishful thinking?

In the meantime, you can use the Inline Difficulty Changer script to easily change your difficulty without having to visit the Settings page. And yeah, some suggestions do make it into the game in one form or another.

As far as low-hanging fruit goes, a separate Auction forum is ground-level. Unless someone has a good reason to not split it?

Like having a in-game auction script? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I do appreciate the idea of a separate auction forum, or any kind of solution that let those threads stay on the first page of WTS. I've even thought about having a pinned post about auctions and update that. If there's a split, also make a script forum as others suggested. Right now there's too many scripts for a single thread to handle and any kind of discussion seems difficult. (Of course the usage may be low, but then it's not like the HV system discussion have a high usage beyond this suggestion thread)

Maybe we should make a list about what sub forum we need, so Tenb can finish them all in one shot~

I could possibly suggest a new spamhaus for HV, but then history tells us that people won't learn from mistakes so...

Hi,
Regarding monster parry, could we perhaps get some type of shard that provides some counter-parry, maybe like 50%? It could have a drop rate similar to featherweight shards, or perhaps a bit higher depending on its duration. It would also be non-stackable on more than one weapon, as with other enhancement shards.
Providing around ~50% counter-parry would allow allow 2-Handed and Dual Wield players to be less annoyed by monster parry, but still have less counter-parry than the 100% Overwhelming Strikes that makes 1-Handed unique.
Oh yeah, perhaps instead of being a drop, the counter-parry shards could be sold from the Bazaar, thus providing a credit sink.
Anyway, I think some kind of counter-parry shard would be a great idea.

50% counter-parry sounds too high. It's 2.5x more effective than a level 5 Overpower. Monster Parry is there to provide a disadvantage in using melee weapons. Melee weapons don't cost any mana to use, and still wrecks stuff. Why make it stronger? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I was sorting through my equipment, deciding to lock everything I had equipped, and setting up my three equipment sets so I had one in Cloth Armor, one in Light Armor, and one in Heavy Armor. Because of all the constant switching from Inventory and Equipment, would it be possible to get a bit of a revamp on how the display works?
For instance, could the Inventory screen have separate tabs for the different types of items like the Item Shop and Equipment Shops have, as well as an All Items tab? Also, could we have something that marks what part of the body the armor covers, whether it be something in the pop-up or a tiny symbol next to the item? For example, I'm not entirely sure what "sabatons" or "greaves" are, or what part of the body they cover. You can't really figure it out unless you actively look it up or buy the item and see where it goes.
Also, I know it's been mentioned before multiple times, but an in-game player shop would be nice. Maybe have a "My Shop" page with four slots to put things (with Training available to unlock more slots), and an extra page in the Bazaar where every item and their prices that players have in their shops are in a long list, with the Credits paid transferred to the other player. (If a Credit sink is needed, maybe include something like a 3-5% "tax" on items bought from other players?)

I would like to see special events more often. Maybe have one every 3 months to spice things up a bit.

Resist is a cool guy. It doesn't mess anything up unlike all those dominos that never had a chance. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Categories for the inventory? In-game shop? I would LOVE that. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I wonder why the former hasn't been done yet btw, it seems like the logical course of action after doing so for the shop, forge, etc. This post has been edited by Dan31: Jan 7 2014, 12:46

In-game shop: Then we run into "How about we have some customization" and "personal rules" and "I want more items" and "there needs to be way to search all this crap" and soon we have another WTS.

In Game Shop: You can offer 1 thing per week.
If your Thing does not sell because you asked for a silly price you get a one week penalty!

Overpower is silly weak, that's all. Talking about potencies... I think it's time to nerf Economist, no? /2 - /2.5
