I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere (undoubtedly to try and avoid a shitstorm,) but it looks like credit drops have been halved for all monsters. It's evident in EoD/Twilight since Ryouko/Yuki/Mikuru rounds have dropped from ~400C to ~190C (1 Legendary, 3 mid-bosses, one regular.)

Oh, God, no...
I swear, every time I get a new credit hath perk, there must be an alarm that goes off on Tenboro's computer.

Lucky, there's another staff in the shop right now: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=7eaa0e30casame thing: it's fine on firefox, but it's wrong in chrome edit:ok, I bought it, just to be sure, that it won't be destroyed this time (not I wanted it, but it's for a good cause) This post has been edited by cmdct: Jan 30 2010, 12:05

I found what appears to be a bug. 47 3 Rabid Hamster resists your spell. 47 2 You cast Chain Lightning. 47 1 You gain 0.03 points of elemental magic proficiency. 46 6 Regen restores you with 86 points of health. 46 5 Rabid Hamster is asleep. 46 4 You gain the effect Channeling. And while we're on the subject, I'd like to bring up an old question that never got answered AFAIK. QUOTE(flowertop @ Nov 8 2009, 00:52) There's a little bugger when using Channeling + Coalesced Mana effects. First off, Channeling increases duration of (de)buffs, increases magical damage and healing effects, but will cost 0 MP. Coalesced Mana reduces the MP cost of any spell by half directed at the target.
Now what I noticed is - Under the condition that I have the effect of Channeling and there's a creature under the effect of Coalesced Mana, CMana takes precedence and halves the MP of the direct spell against the creature. Though CMana has been used up, Channeling is still in effect after using a spell.
Was this intentional?
Does it still do this? If so, is it supposed to? And if it isn't supposed to, can it be changed, please? I think, given the choice, most people would rather get a free powered-up cast than a normal one at half price.

Oh, and I stole it just to make sure it doesn't go anywhere, but I sent you enough credits to cover it. That's a bit.. weird. I'll look into it, As for Channeling vs Coalesced Mana, yeah, CM still takes precedence. I'll probably change it, unless there was a particular reason I can't remember for having it like that.

It has been noticed by others. My final rounds of arenas with bosses have gone from 100-120C to something like 50-60C. This post has been edited by Boggyb: Jan 30 2010, 20:39

Since Magic Missile is free now, how about giving it its very own hotkey, say M?

Or how about an option in the settings to toggle it to be used in place of the normal attack?
This way - since the missle is as strong as a normal hit - you'd have a more defined class when you choose to be a mage. For attack multiplier, you could use the one from the staff you're wearing. Proficiency gain would be convenient to be activated again, too. A normal hit acts the same way, after all.

- Fixed some typos. Woo.
Poison still has the misspelling of "curses" where it should have been courses, unless that was some sort of deliberate pun?

I assume that you are thinking that the prof gain from magic missile would be staff prof. If not, then eh, I'm not sure that is a great idea. edit: Did something change in the item menu in the character screen? Something seems off... This post has been edited by Boggyb: Jan 31 2010, 02:07

I know for sure that the items are now at the top of the screen, judging by the "Auto" buttons. What used to be at the top was the item descriptions (I think... Were tooltips always there for the items?)

Also, staff chance of proc'ing ether theft would need to be carried through for this to be a decent replacement.

Would it be excessive to ask for another equipment set or two?

Hi, I am new and I find the game system is really nice and especially more elaborate than some other site that promotes the merits of their games.

No, it would not. I've been wanting a few more for awhile. I have my DW set, I have my Niten set, I have my Mage set, I have my Spirit Ward set, and I have my Thrice Blessed set. I really just don't want to accidentally sell some of my mitigation armor.

Can it display somewhere up at the top or over at the side of the page which arena battle we're doing and what round we're in? It cuts off on the log and it would be so much better to always have that showing so we can keep track of how much farther we have to go when we're doing those long challenges.
I've asked for this several times. Hey, Boggy, make a note to mention that in your next PM to Tenboro.
And thankfully, my dawn event credits are still intact. Whew. For now, anyway.

I was going to mention it because it was bothering me as well.

While you're at it, could you ask him to change the labels on monsters from A-J to 1-0/10?
