Hurl some meatballs at them, Baby. Don't forget, you're the Meatball Moderator ©.

Except it would be kinda tame if they steal it, and just put it in your backpack.

QUOTE(Sayo Aisaka @ Feb 4 2010, 02:09) Maybe it's a new monster skill. They steal your equipment while you're not looking. Not sure if you're already figured out the problem behind this, but I've got a staff with especially bad formatting: (IMG:[ i50.tinypic.com] http://i50.tinypic.com/34osz6w.png) I don't think it looked like that before 0.4.5.

Haven't had the chance to look at it yet, but it's probably just some minor rendering differences in Gecko and WebKit.

I notice that I'm getting a "Your Health is Dangerously Low!" popup. This really really needs to go.

Yeah, that's one of mine (STAT feature). You can turn it off in the Settings tab. Unless you DON'T have STAT installed... BTW, Tenb, I noticed you hadn't addressed the bug with IA deducting upkeep during the initialization round of battles (core mentioned it before). Is that on the to-do list already, or would a reminder be helpful since we're always bombarding you with things we want and sometimes things slip through the cracks?

I've been devoting most of the dev time to Galleries lately, but I'm not really sure I'll even classify that as a bug. It's deducted both for the last turn and the first turn of a battle, yes. Nothing else.

The last turn (the turn the battle ends) makes sense, since there's most likely an action performed (you do something or the monster does something and the monster dies either way). But the first turn (Turn 0), there are no actions -- you can't do anything and neither can the monsters. Its not horribly game breaking or anything that serious, but knowing what you thought about it was helpful.

Interesting that you mention this because I PM'ed Tenboro to remind him about it the other day...

That seems to be it. Cripes, when are popups ever a good idea? This post has been edited by Panuru: Feb 11 2010, 01:56

It's to help folks who accidentally let themselves die by spamming attacks while not paying attention to their health. A popup forces them to stop attacking and realize that they're dying, where even the quickbar highlighting can be missed in the 1-2 turns it might take to go from 25% HP to death. But you're quite right that it's (intentionally) annoying. That's why it's optional.

One problem I'm getting with firefox is I cant change the settings because I can't scroll to the apply button, so I use IE to do that (in IE I need to select some text and then drag it down to reach the button).

Are you using a custom font? The only time I recall having a similar problem was back when I was using a large custom font.
