My earliest memories of movies I liked were Jungle Book, Herbie the Love Bug, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Aristocats, Godzilla, 7th Voyage of Sinbad,....stuff like that. Plus I knew I loved sci-fi, cheesy horror and comedy really early.... Day the Earth Stood Still, War of the Worlds, Abott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Them!, The Blob, The Thing, House of Wax, The Invisible Man, Tobor, Forbidden Planet, Mars Needs Women!, Earth vs. the Flying Saucers, etcetcetc. The Day the Earth Stood Still is still probably my favorite film all-time.
The first movie I remember really looking forward to and going to the theater and choosing what to see was Star Wars.
Best kids movie after I was an adult is probably The Princess Bride.
Depends on what age of childhood we're talking about.
Early on, The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. (yes, I know it is technically a compilation of short films).
Later, probably 101 Dalmatians.
By fourth grade (age 10 or so), probably Smokey and the Bandit.
Fifth grade (age 11), Spaceballs.
When I was around 14, probably still Spaceballs.
Age 16, "The Seventh Seal." I don't think late teens count, though.
Oh yeah, the original star wars movie figures into there somewhere, but I don't really know if it was ever a 'favorite.' It was still something I watched a lot though.
In hindsight, though, I think Empire was probably a better movie. I watched it less than the first film.
Raiders of the Lost Ark was good too. And The Last Crusade. I probably watched Last Crusade slightly more, but both were great movies. Never cared for Temple of Doom, though.

Oh shit, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Herbie the Love Bug. And Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Forgot those. AND Mary Poppins.
So hard to pick. But I did watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang pretty frequently considering how long it is. That opening scene is fantastic.

Star Wars 5 - The Empire Strikes Back had a good mix of action and non-action along with cinematographic epic shots interspersed with close ups to help make sure viewers like me didn't get tired of a constant full-on cinematographic view.
