A cold backup of the website. There doesn't exist a larger repository of books and images aside from nhentai (which to my knowledge relies on the uploads on this site for new content) and the only other website I knew a long time ago, Liberty Library, got hit by the authorities without prior notice and a large portion of their content was completely lost. The same could happen to E-H. Knowing the internet, and the overall size of the site, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell the data could be recovered if the authorities pull a silk road and confiscate everything without notice. Some of these books aren't even on paper anymore so I would very much prefer that they don't disappear into the sands of time.
