Cat chattering is a mystery but the common belief is they're getting excited when they see a bird they can't reach. Now scientists say they may be imitating the sound of a bird to possibly draw it to them.
Here cats are making human sounds. Cats normally don't meow at each other at all, only at people or when people are around.
Cats sometimes meow as a question, like "Meow?" My cat's name for me was Merrow Merrow. "Get me food, Merrow Merrow."
What a horrible commercial! Not funny in any way unless you live in a fantasy-dog world. It was a privilege that a graceful cat was adorning the top of a Subaru. Does Subaru only want dog owners to purchase their cars? A realistic, not to mention uplifting, commercial would have been for a dog to bite the leg of a four-year old boy playing next to a Subaru, and then have a cat chase the dog away, like Tara the hero cat did to the dog that was biting the leg of the child in Bakersfield, CA. The commercial would then end with the dog being taken on a one-way trip to the pound in a Subaru Forester. Cats rule, dogs drool.
What they don't know is later that night the cat sprayed its pee all over the dog's car tires and house.
