Too many memes nowadays follow a motte and bailey format where it portrays one individual as a moron getting upset or acting unreasonable for no given reason in response to a wojak or felid who is a stand in for the poster whose actions or beliefs are written to sound innocuous.

But inexplicable behavior can been true for atypical individuals whose own actions can emerge for reasons that cannot be understood or without commonly known external motivations i.e. getting unreasonably mad when finding out female lions don't have manes. The mistake is assuming everyone else is the same.

Hate to rain on your parade but that word (yeet) is at least 5 years old now.

I thought 'wow, that sounds... really stupid' the first time I heard it, but i got accustomed to it.

I don't think I'll ever use it out of the context of discussing the word itself, but there you have it.

What really gave me an aneurysm though was hearing someone use it in the past tense ("yote" - not even "yeeted"). And then the other zoomers nearby understanding exactly what he had just said.

They're based in Turkey and everyone was worried about them since that big quake hit. Fortunately, they're OK as it says in a community post.
