Probably K-On! or Dragonaut. Both promised something worthwhile, but neither delivered much of worth. At least Dragonaut had not!Sasuke's retarded face thong for a laugh. K-On! had, at best, two entertaining moments.

El-Hazard: The Alternative World

My expectation was that it would explore El-Hazard's history, delving deep in its cultures & lores of ancient past, possibly picking up immediately after El-Hazard: The Magnificent World 2 by explaining Karlia's (previous main antagonist) origins as well as the creation of various ancient superweapons. Instead the anime took the characters to another dimension, an uninteresting militaristic world which for some reason posses a counterpart to the dimensional weapon from El-Hazard. The nature of its relationship with El-Hazard - if it has any - was never explained. Not to mention, the new antagonist came from out of nowhere. I admit, the old man or spirit bear a a bit of resemblance to Karlia but then the writers decided to kill off the character at the end without explaining things.

I can watch almost any anime but have hated quite a few over the years. Generally forget their names so it is hard to say what they were.

I keep hearing of this Boku no Pico but never watch it. It's kind of old by now and the drawings don't really look to fit my taste, so unless the animation is like ultra good then I don't have any reason to watch it.
