One question : i don't mind the captcha (i don't do that many grindfest), but i have it in every instance, is that normal ?
One comment : it seems that if the captcha ask to enter for example "robert embroil", something like "arobert embroil" or "robertu embroil" also works.

You get it every time you start a grindfest when a certain 'trigger level' has gone past a certain point. If it never cools down back below that level, you might very well have to do it every time.

Well, it's the reCAPTCHA project.. the first word isn't actually known. The second word is a known control word while the first word is taken from a list of unparseable words encountered while digitizing books and stuff. You can read about it [recaptcha.net] here.

Something entirely unrelated to this release: Damage type mitigations in equipment popups should be displayed with a percentage sign. Also elemental damage bonuses from staffs, and there may be others I've missed.

Well, a quick cast icon for that powerup gem wouldn't be a bad thing, but I'd settle for a change in drop color already so at least it'd be more noticeable when one drops.

For a quick fix to the low visibility of powerup gem drops, you could try the new HV STAT mod. It colorizes your battle log for all kinds of things, including making gem drops bold purple.

Well he did say shorter versions of the scrolls which stack with the casted version so its probably better then the semi-useless elemental spikes.

A Toddleguro attack that is going to do 1000 elec damage to me.
My cast-able version of barrier right now would block 77.2 damage, I'll round it to 78. (Because I SERIOUSLY doubt a powerup would give me a barrier with 250% prof)
Shock Gem would give me Electric Spikes that would block 250 damage from this attack while inflicting 20-50 points of damage to the other mobs who are whaling on me.

That assumes you get the right gem at the right time and the mind raper casts in those 19 turns its up, which is unlikely to happen. I'd rather have something that is more consistently useful, then something very situationally useful.

You are asking for something that most likely is not supposed to be giving you that much of an advantage when it does drop to now give you a better advantage. And you keep forgetting that the spike shield may not help you much, but it does not hurt you.

Not quite. When you use a gem, it's supposedly takes 0 action time (which seems to be slightly bugged), but it still uses up a turn. That means that any supportive spells you've got active on yourself just lost one turn of usefulness. That's not meaningful if you're using Innate Arcana, but not everyone is swimming in Hath.
