Mayriad's EH Download Shortcuts

Mayriad's EH Master Script has been released to replace this script, which is just an small, outdated fragment of the master script. Please head to the release thread and upgrade to the master script ASAP. Note that the gallery download shortcuts feature in the master script works differently, so you should read the user manual for the master script if you intend to continue using this feature.

A userscript for e-hentai.org that automates the standard download process and lets you download galleries en masse directly from gallery lists via the three official methods, which include the doggie bag archiver, H@H downloader, and ehtracker torrents.

Status update:

As I explained in the last update, this script is no longer maintained only because it will be replaced by my private master script soon, from which this particular download shortcuts function was extracted and made into a separate script; this function itself is still under active development and I will answer queries and requests as usual. You just need to wait for me to release the master script, which will also contain a new version of this download shortcuts feature.

As a general status update, right now I am still working on a public release version of the master script and I have spent a lot more time on it than I initially planned/expected. I have been doing some overhauls, and overhauling 3000+ 120-character lines takes time.

NB:

1. The user manual is very informative so you should read that. In particular, it tells you how to enable mixed content in your browser, which is required for archive downloads.

2. This script works with Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey and perhaps other userscript engines. Greasemonkey is not supported because of some technical problems with it.

3. I am only a self-taught programmer, and I may not respond to feature requests. In addition, this is a private script that I was not planning to release and it is hence not widely tested yet.

4. I do not have access to the H@H downloader, so I wrote that feature blindly and also could not test it myself. Consequently, I am afraid I cannot be responsible for this feature at the moment. It has had significant problems in the past due to insufficient third-party information and testing, so you need to be careful when you set the script to use this downloader; in particular, you should watch your GP wallet and stop any singular download that gets stuck in the "loading" state for more than a minute, if this still happens.

Thanks a lot for this. If I had the skill to write scripts, or capability to otherwise contribute to saving what's on the site en masse, I gladly would. It really sucks to think that history may be gone forever.

Yes, because the servers are getting hammered. Click the button again to retry. If it keeps failing then the archiver is just unavailable, which I cannot fix.

EDIT: Got it - the Thumbnail view mode is not working on the favorites page. You need to change it to a different one like Minimal

What I did was to download the Chrome addon 'Custom JavaScript for websites'. Then I just copy-pasted the code in there and it worked

Download Tampermonkey on Chrome or Greasemonkey on Firefox. Create new script and paste the code here on Tamper/Greasemonkey. Proceed as usual.

My bad. That was a one-number typo in the code; ".gl1t > .gl4t > a: should have been ".gl1t > .gl3t > a". Thanks for your feedback. The code has been updated.

Yeah this is the recommended approach, but I am not sure if this is a must for this extract. I know the actual master script must use a monkey because it at least uses GM.setValue() and GM.getValue().

It is likely that you do not have enough GP or credits, or the download attempt timed out from very slow connection, which is not surprising by now. It looks like half of the archivers are down already.

hate to ask but does anyone know of a javascript injector that works with chromium/vivaldi cause kind of still in panic state cause of the awful news.
