Firefox for privacy features but can't deny Chrome is the speed king. I use both for different things

I tried using firefox for a while recently and ended up switching back.

Firefox for desktop wasn't too bad. I don't like things like pocket integration and other nonsense since the new UI came out. I was able to disable that though.

Firefox for Android though is a whole other issue. Half the time video playback on websites failed to work at all but worked fine in chrome. I just ended up switching back to chrome entirely.

Shame, cuz the OG firefox was pretty good back in the day.

Same, not having to bother keeping the user.js up2date and easy configuration with the overrides.cfg has been great although their decision to enable OCSP by default is weird to me.

firefox esr, because i can move/backup/copy profiles easily withou copy all the os, and restore is just copy the profile, go into about:profiles, make a new profile indicating the folder and ready to go.

in chrome the only solution i found is having google account, so.. nope

Seems Mozilla finally removed the manual text encoding selecton menu.

Because who would ever stumble across old japanese Shift-JIS HTML and want to be able to /read/ it?

(technically there is a 'repair text' button now... but come on. You know that won't correctly detect encoding 100% of the time.)

Both are fine for now. Google keeps pushing pack manifest v2 removal, but the shitstorm is inevitable
