Figured out how to stop most servers from serving webp images to firefox (instead of jpeg/png).
about:config, set 'image.http.accept' to '*/*' (without quotes).

The default, when unset, effectively is 'image/webp,*/*'.

Seamonkey can view webp's, but I noticed that sites were serving it jpegs/PNG's instead so i decided to investigate why.

I hope Python's Pillow gets support for jpeg-xl soon.

Haha, tobin's been kicked off palemoon at last. I hope it's for good.

Even his "farewell address" is narcissistic as fuck.

I'm using Edge now, moving out from Firefox.

I'll reconsider moving back only after their current CEO steps down.

Thank you. I've changed mine now.

I hope that Firefox can continue to exist despite its market share continuing to dwindle. Once Firefox goes out of business, those other browsers depending on Firefox code will dwindle too as their non-hardcore users quit and move to the phone-home Chrome-based engine (Edge or Chrome proper).

I use Firefox nowdays because I like it more than Chrome. But I miss having access to the Pixiv-addon called "Powerful Pixiv Downloader" so I could download pictures in full size by clicking on an icon by the thumbnails, which makes everything so much more efficient. The addons on Firefox doesn't have this functionality.

Unfortunatly there's no support for that addon on Firefox, so I might go back to Chrome when visiting Pixiv even though I don't like their browser. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Chrome isn't a bugged mess like FF, which I used to use a decade ago, so Chrome.

Every opinion you have is wrong.

At least in my experience.

Seamonkey, Netsurf, occasionally Firefox.

Netsurf whenever I can get away with it; it's so snappy. My only complaint is that they moved the tab bar above the URL bar in a recent release.

Based.
I don't love firefox anymore... but it's the best option when I am forced to deal with some "modern" web developer's javascript fetish.
