QUOTE(Lunatic2 @ Dec 6 2009, 15:56) From what i can see it's definately not just a handful of people.
You're right. Six people in the active userbase is less than a handful.

I was under the impression that you get an instant heal upon use of a potion. Looks like I was mistaken? Edit: Yeah... I was confused since while they still heal the turn they are used, it's just not until the end of the turn. Usually if you use an item in the first turn, your action speed is enough to get a heal before the mob's first turn. Silly me. This post has been edited by xWKx: Dec 7 2009, 02:48

Yup, you were mistaken. HoT's and DoT's were moved to the end of a turn a while ago. For an instant heal, go for cure.

I'm finding it very difficult to get to the Apply Changes button in the settings section since the update. I just can't see the damn thing. I have the same issue in the bazaar when looking at equipments near the bottom of the list. The pop-up runs off the bottom of the frame and I can't see the level/procs/what have you. Suggestions/fixes?

Think I found a bug that has to do with how the battle log got moved down a few pixels and what may be causing some people problems. First, I clicked on Item Slot 12 without scrolling down to get it in full view (any chance you could tighten the gap between the slots a little?). And [ i50.tinypic.com] this happens. So I click on Attack to cancel out of the item pane, and [ i46.tinypic.com] this is what it looks like. Scrolled down that same page and [ i50.tinypic.com] this is what it looks like. I've done this twice to check, so it wasn't a one-time fluke.

When that tooltip issue happens to me, I increase the size of my browser window. The HV frame is a fixed size, so maximizing your browser window will give you extra viewable space outside the main HV frame. As for the Apply Settings button, there might be a scroll bar you're not used to seeing, which you could use to scroll to the bottom of the HV frame. If there's no scroll bar, you can hit <Enter> while in one of the custom font fields to invoke the default action of the page, which is the Apply Settings button.

THe max screen res on this old computer is a little les than the HV window so, I have the same problem. Just use the F11 key to super-max your browser window. Another F11 brings it back to normal.

You could probably also zoom out a little with ctrl+mousewheel.

Does overcharge boost in the abilities tree still increase attack damage? I just added 5 points and I'm not seeing any difference with my attack.

+5% attack damage doesn't amount to much. It takes a long time before OC Boost starts paying off, but there is a noticeable difference in your damage output between empty OC and full OC.

Is it just me, or is the battle window flashing blank more often than it used to? Now, every time I attack, the entire window flashes, where before it seemed like it'd only flash when I applied a status effect. It's pretty annoying; is anyone else getting this behavior?

No flashy stuff for me, though I just realized BattleBuddy is gone, which is most likely unrelated.

What do you mean by flashing? QUOTE(dap00 @ Dec 7 2009, 20:14) No flashy stuff for me, though I just realized BattleBuddy is gone, which is most likely unrelated.
Over-quota again, so BB down-time.

I mean that for just a split instant, the entire Firefox screen goes blank, and then refreshes with the updated monster HP bars. Previously, I'd see nothing change except the HP bar for the monster I just hit going down.

It used to eventually go away for me, too. But now it always does it.

Firefox is increasingly becoming Microsoft-like bloatware, with high demands on the CPU. The blank page is the CPU still processing FF data. Go back a few upgrades and your performance should improve.

Or drop most of your add-ons, since Firefox is actually pretty lightweight without a bunch of plug-ins taking up commit or proc time.
