That's what I thought, when I first bought it and it didn't show up on the Item World list. Ahh, my memory is a little buggy, too. I sold a FB club and then bought the FBD so, obviously I confused the two. That means the 24 hour rule bit me twice on shop purchases.

So, it should be on my IW list once I leave IW since it has been more than 24 hours since I bought it. Perhaps we could get a cooldown timer for IW-used equipment, perhaps in a sub=panel like the left side of our Character>Equipment screen with enterable one above and the cooldown one on the fixed size panel below.

Anyways, thanks for the confirmation about the 24 hour limit following the weapon through the shop/trades.

As for this update, I don't have Absorb yet, so, thanks-in-advance, and the only Katana or Wakawaka I've seen are rare appearances in the shop. (Plus, I am guessing my Shield prof is like 6.)

So you're saying that DW proficiency doesn't increase offhand strike damage? The tips thread says that each 10 points in DW proficiency reduces the offhand strike damage penalty by 1% (maxing out at -25% damage instead of -50%). Is that not true?

I thought DW was capped at 75%, starting at 50%. Making it hit 25% harder then a Niten mode offhand.

From 0.3.7 notes

Oh yeah does that mean that Niten style doesn't have the 50% offhand dmg multiplier penalty?

You're getting things turned around. What's reduced on the offhand weapon, and what's increased through proficiency, is the *stat* Attack Damage Multiplier on the weapon. The actual damage from Offhand Strike isn't affected by anything but your base damage, but the *chance* of getting it is increased with proficiency.

Niten uses the same offhand calculations as dual-wield, but the penalty for the attack damage multiplier is larger.

I don't know if its just me, but did Tenboro turn down monster strength? It seems like they're dying more quickly than usual.... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I'd like to take this moment to express my manly love for Counter-Attack. If only I could block more often...

Serious question: Has anyone noticed if Counter is affected by OverStrikes? I'm seeing them hit for over 700, which is on the higher end of my damage for normal mobs, particularly if I've got OverStrikes active, but I wanted to see if anyone has observed similar.

I think that Counter is affected by overStrikes and also by penetrated armor...

The absorb fix is working nicely, but all day absorb hasn't tripped on Bukkake, haunt, or toddlerguro. at least it has seemed that way, and I been using absorb alot today, (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) here's an IE:

11 3 Bukkake crits you for 178 soul damage.
11 2 Amphibious Sperm Whale casts Bukkake
11 1 You hit Amphibious Sperm Whale for 207 crushing damage.

Ah ha ok, that makes sense, guess that means the tips and info thread needs to be fixed too.

although I still swear my offhand was hitting for more a few days ago.../shrug

I've noticed the same thing. I have gotten over a dozen Elixirs in the last week, both Health and Mana. In that time I've seen exactly 0 godlies. It feels like the Superior drop rate is about right, but Godlies seem to have ceased to exist.

Absorb can't trigger on a crit anyway. And seeing as it's 75% if you have it maxed, and there's nothing special about Toddlergury, I'll just file that under "bad luck". (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Meaning, Absorb will not save you from OHKO situations... So, if you are badly supercritted, you WILL die...

Not to be too rude but, wtf? Why? That was definitely not in the release notes. That takes out most of the purpose in using it, and explains why the hell I feel I get supercritted so often.

This helps explain why it feels like a disproportionate number of successful spells against us are crits. It's because there are x_x

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the message of:

Toddleguro crits you for 0 dmg
The hostile spell is drained. You gain 30 Magic Points.

But maybe that was a bug...

Are there any plans for a method to increase scroll/infusion slots beyond the current skill tree, either as LOLTraining or in new trees?

Also, new icons for the next level cure spells, plz. Pallet swaps are fine, too, until a proper job can be done.

1 10 Rabid Hamster has been defeated.
1 9 Bleeding Wound hits Rabid Hamster for 208 damage.
1 8 Your counter Rabid Hamster for 362 points of slashing damage.
1 7 You block the attack from Rabid Hamster.
1 6 You block the attack from Giant Panda.
1 5 Mutant Peacock hits you for 3 piercing damage.
1 4 Scary Ghost misses the attack against you.
1 3 Rabid Hamster gains the effect Bleeding Wound.
1 2 You gain the effect Overwhelming Strikes.
1 1 You crit Rabid Hamster for 478 slashing damage.

I thought at first he must have had a double turn of BW, but no, it really did take him out in one hit.

I think I've established a new fighting style. Carry a shield, defend repeatedly and simply counter everything to death. It's not very efficient, mind you - it took 146 rounds to kill 7 monsters, and I had to use Regen three times. But it's good for Buddhists.

too bad that doing that won't raise prof, which is good because if not it'd be just mindless defend clicking to raise shield prof...
