QUOTE(n125 @ Mar 24 2011, 13:34) Yeah, Firefox 4 made some pretty significant changes to the Javascript engine. :\ I don't know if this will help, but here is the error that the Error Console catches when clicking on the wrench icon: CODE Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Could not convert JavaScript argument arg 0 [nsIDOMViewCSS.getComputedStyle]" nsresult: "0x80570009 (NS_ERROR_XPC_BAD_CONVERT_JS)" location: "JS frame :: file:///C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/x52gte6a.default/extensions/%7Be4a8a97b-f2ed-450b-b12d-ee082ba24781%7D/components/greasemonkey.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 392" data: no] Seems like a Greasemonkey error? First of all, I would like to say that not only for Grwasemonkey, but also for a similar add-on "Scriptish" (specially for fx4) find the same problem. For example, the msgbox for low HP is different than before (for both js runner) Sad for losing the support of HV STAT for Fx4 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) BTW, this should be some thing wrong between Fx4 and J2SE (I think....)

1 7 Thunderstorm hits Your Penis for 2271 elec damage. 1 2 Thunderstorm blasts Green Slime for 2929 elec damage. 1 1 You cast Thunderstorm.

For those of you who play HV with STAT in Firefox, and are feeling the hurt of the JS changes that FFx4 made, I highly recommend installing Chrome, even if you just use it to play HV+STAT. That's exactly what I do, and it works wonderfully.
Plus, HV+STAT runs faster in Chrome than HV without STAT does in FFx3.6. At least for me.

Not for me, since I used the pipeline trick (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Umm...I installed the STAT and grease monkey says its working but I have no tabs to view (although the battle-screen related stuff works)
...I downloaded the latest version - Can anyone help me figure out why I can't get the tabs to appear?
edit: Guess its the firefox being a pain...still, STATs good as it is for my needs..

STAT is subtly broken in firefox 4 because of how it changed it's javascript engine. Try maximizing your browser window and then clicking the settings button more than once. The oprions dialog should appear below the game area.

Anyway, I installed a copy of FF4 to see what all the hubbub was about. Testing it with my latest build of TOP SECRET PROJECT WITH NO FANCY DEV CODENAME, it seems the problem with STAT was with the version of jQuery. The problem doesn't exist with the new script, so I'm going to upload a quick fix for FF4 users in a bit. You will need to uninstall STAT before updating.

Just wanted to take the time to say a big thank you to cmal and everyone else for their hard work on HV STAT. Detailed stats. Colors. No more wasted powerups. More speed. I totally regret not having used this tool earlier. Please keep it up, this is awesome (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Strangest thing. Showing Moster Effect Durations, suddenly stopped working, even with my portable version of firefox. When I say they stopped working, I mean there's no longer a box with or without a number. Durations still works for player buffs. Deleted cache & cookies. Reinstalled script, rebooted computer. Yelp ?

Have you tried clearing your local storage? I can't recall how to do that in firefox, but it's probably near the cache clear mechanism.

It seems that this is causing the problem In version 4.3.0 there is... [ ajax.googleapis.com] http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquer...2/jquery.min.jsIn version 4.3.0a there is... [ ajax.googleapis.com] http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquer...1/jquery.min.jsCopying that to the 1.3.2 line from 4.3.0 to 4.3.0a, makes the current version work. I started keeping backups of previous STATs since I can't find the good old versions anywhere. Damn, it keeps cutting the lines short with ... Well cmal will know which part I mean, it's at the very beginning Changed the current 1.5.1 thingy to 1.3.2 thingy that was used in older versions. /jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js /jquery/1.5.1/jquery.min.js The reason I fetched a new version is that I messed up the old version when I added an audible alert to triggering of Spark of Life. It's good to get a voice alert about Spark when watching videos. This post has been edited by Bunko: Apr 18 2011, 19:54

I'm running STAT 4.3.0a on FF 3.5.18 and the duration badges are still there.

Hail Cmal. It works for me today too, but it didn't yesterday. All is well now, thanks for replying. I wonder if this had something to do with it. 11 hours ago: Note that EHWiki is currently moving to a new server. DNS is propagating now. This is mostly to get it running on the newest PHP branch. I posted my problem excatly 11 hours ago, bit of a coincidence for that not to be it.
Or maybe something was wrong with /1.5.1/jquery.min.js ...yesterday
We'll probably never know. My computer wasn't rebooted in the meantime, nor did I update anything.
====EDIT==== Monster duration badge stopped working again when I downloaded the new STAT from the first page. No matter, I'll just change that one line and it will work again.

After you change that line, are you still able to bring up the STAT settings (via wrench)? In my case, if I don't change that line after updating to 4.3.0a, the settings dialogue works fine, but no monster effect duration badge appears unless the target has two or more effects on it. If I do change it like you describe, the monster effect duration badge works fine, but the settings dialogue refuses to load, just like in 4.3.0.

It would be much easier to troubleshoot if you folks noted which version of FF you're using. FF4 has a lot of issues with Javascript due to the change in engine.

I use Fox 3.6.1.6 Yes I can still access the wrench config. Even making small mistakes while editing the script can cause it to disappear. I put the one that works for me here. [ rapidshare.com] https://rapidshare.com/files/458667026/thisworks.txtThe query thingy is changed and I made the badges smaller so I can see the icons better. Otherwise it's the original. Seems like Tenboro's Stamina & Assimilator update broke the duration badges on HV STAT v4.3.0. Overcharge bar and buffs moved, so they now appear with zeroes in the middle of the command menu. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) That's on Chrome, by the way.

Firefox too, seeing random zeroes around the place
