Alright kids, time for Supply and Demand 101, (slightly) simplified version:

• If the number of a certain item in the market is low (low supply) while the number of demand on that particular item is high (high demand), the price of that item usually becomes more expensive

In other words, if a lot of you guys keep on holding to that trophies (which means there are a small number of people or if possible, no one is selling their trophies), the buyers who demand those items will increase the price to compete with other buyers to be able to attract sellers to sell those trophies to them. When there's a large number of people keeping their trophies without selling them, it creates the 'low supply situation', which is a good benefit for the seller. This method will not work if every seller don't want to cooperate.

However, there's a way to counter that situation. If the number of demand is high while the actual number of buyers are far lower than the demand, this mean that those buyers are usually rich-ass people who got tonnes of credits to spend. In this case, those few elites can all work together to create a 'no demand situation' by agreeing not to buy a single trophies from the masses for a period of time. This situation will deceive the sellers into thinking that their trophies are starting to get worthless and so, they will start to sell all their trophies at lower prices to compete with other sellers to attract buyers to buy them. When the prices get reasonably low, it will become the all-you-can-buy party for the few elites.

This is pretty much like a war of attrition, or a gamble. Whichever side persevere shall win. Also, this can be applied to the Hath Exchange as well (I want to sell my Hath at higher price but those dumbfucks keep on selling their Hath at a low price, causing the other sellers to do the same just to compete within the market (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Also, that one fucker who has 100k Hath trying to control the market price by putting that high amount of Hath for sale at whatever price he wants so that other people will start to sell theirs at a much lower price (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)).

It's still useful for completing sets so I think we should use week (or even 72 hours) rule - if there is no update within that time than post or thread gets deleted.
