Is there a way to search your favorites by catagory?

I tried some things (manipulating urls) but it didn't work.
I could have sworn there was no trouble to do that before the recent update (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

If my memory do not fail me the same URL parameters were used by the galleries and the favourites screens. On one it was gallery categories and on the other it was favourites categories. Only now we got different URL parameters.

TL;DR: Can't do, no way of searching gallery categories in favourites.

If you mean favorite category, just click the corresponding color or use the favcat argument in the URL.
If you mean gallery category, not possible afaik.

that's a bit annoying

The thing is it's theoretically doable with the current limit of 100k favs assuming no underlying performance issues. (If you have something like 10k in a category, it's highly recommended not to do it too quickly.)

If you don't have too many favorites and you have a "spare" color (merge the lowest two in count to get one; the More Pages perk line helps you do this much faster and without hammering the servers), you can rearrange them so that the color matches the category.

Yeah, it worked perfectly before the last update.

Searching

Users may search their existing favorites list from within their favorites page. It is possible to filter the searches based on favorite color. It is also possible to sort by the date the gallery was favored or by the date the gallery was posted. If a gallery was updated the favorite will update to the most recent gallery in the chain.

That's the issue.How do you do that?
There's no clickable button, adding stuff from normal search to url doesn't work, and adding the category name to the search doesn't work (it could for somebody only favoriting reclassed galleries maybe).

Okay, we were not talking about the same thing.
But then I never ever saw the "favorite category" malfunctioning in any way compared to before UI change, so this didn't help me understanding (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
