I stopped using Google when they mandated the AI shit onto the results. At that time I was using DuckDuckGo as a secondary engine, when Google wasn't able to find what I was looking for after 5 or so pages. They usually had it. But now it's the other way around.

I've tried several but I still use google because the results seem better ranked IMHO

would say that the best way is use multiple search engine instead of just dedicated to one, although i just lazy and straight up google, using of multiple search engine is rare for me.

Tried Bing for a while on Edge. They've locked your search history to the browser and it was not possible to clear that data until you link your windows account email. 0/100 worst search engine.

why not use startpage or duckduckgo instead?

I got tired of SearXNG instances timing out so I switched to startpage. Works fine.

well, Google never gives you accurate search results, from my personal experience.

My main search engine at this point is brave search. I use other search engines occasionally when I feel like my results are lacking. I'll use google, and duckduck go as a fallback.
